Very easy to install, and works almost flawlessly. I do encounter at times that it's offline, but may not be the products fault. To close the garage it's sometimes annoying as it beeps loudly "clearing the area" before starting to close. I understand to a degree why they did it. For the price, outstanding add on to wifi your garage door. Can also give guests access as well.

So that if the garage was closed and we wanted to open it when we were outside the door, we could open it. This works really well. The only thing it does is on our phones it will say it’s open or just closed the door when it really didn’t.

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this item so we would open and shut our two garage doors by smartphone plus have the ability to tell whether the doors are open or closed, plus receive notifications when someone opens or closed the doors. This device needs a good internet signal from your router to work properly. It doesn't receive the signal as well as other wifi devices I have in the garage. I was able to sync the MyQ to our garage door openers after several tries. A bit frustrating. I was able to get one of the garage doors to open and close without any issues, but the other door will open, but sometimes you are unable to close the door. Contacted MyQ support regarding issue with sensor but have not been able to get a response. I would rate this item higher if MyQ had some customer support on this issue.

The nest integration is a joke: you can only set home/away within the app (something that it is already in the nest app) and i think nothing else
