This device needs a good internet signal from your router to work properly. It doesn't receive the signal as well as other wifi devices I have in the garage. I was able to sync the MyQ to our garage door openers after several tries. A bit frustrating. I was able to get one of the garage doors to open and close without any issues, but the other door will open, but sometimes you are unable to close the door. Contacted MyQ support regarding issue with sensor but have not been able to get a response. I would rate this item higher if MyQ had some customer support on this issue.
