It allows one to upgrade their current garage door to become part of their smart home. Cheaper than a new garage door opener and much easier to install. I was able to mount all pieces and install the product in well under an hour. I purchased this for my parents and they love it.

My only complaint is the way the MyQ app is integrated with Google Home. Having to say 'Hey Google, Talk to MyQ' is less than convenient, but this definitely isn't a deal breaker, especially considering the possible security implications of voice command garage door opening.

Works when I need it too from anywhere. My only gripe is that the notifications are odd I iPhone. I wish there was a way to configure notifications better. I’ve tried several methods but it seems I’ll only get one notification and my garage can be open for hours without another notification. Otherwise great Device

I have alerts going to my Pixel 3 when door is opened and is consistently accurate and has yet to go offline or give false info. Works with my Nest although would be nice if IFTT did not require a paid service.
