As others have stated, follow the directions. It also helps to watch one of several videos on internet. This installs easily and I had no issues doing the installation. I have a separate garage with the big door on the alley side making it difficult to see the status of that door. This helped solve that issue.

works well, great tech support if you need it. The setup is bit less friendly than it should but works after all. Multiple garage doors may present an issue with the door sensors to a single hub.

Super easy and convenient. Has made my life so much easier because I don’t have to look for my remote or worry if I left the garage open. Sometimes the app can be a bit spotty but that’s rare.

I just moved into a new house, so I had to purchase another one of these. We have had one of these in every house we have lived in. I love that it can be accessed from your phone and you have the privilege to open the garage from anywhere.

We couldn't get this device to work with our garage door opener. It would only tell us if the door was open or closed. It would not open or close the door.. Returned item

It’s nice to have so I don’t have to get up to close the garage. Wish it paired better with IFTTT. Can’t get mine to link up so I can geofence it when I get home.

I had issues with the door closing. It would work intermittently. Finally found that the hub was too close to my opener. Once I moved it I never had a problem. Q app works but ended up using other apps to create shortcuts on my home screen.

One thing that I discovered in my quest to be able to open my garage door from my smart phone is that Chamberlain doesn't really explain well what devices are needed for which purposes. As I have a LiftMaster (Chamberlain) myQ-compatible garage door opener, I realized after I brought this home that this wasn't the device I needed. Really, I wanted the Chamberlain Home Bridge, which connects the opener to my home network (and supports HomeKit, which the Smart Garage Hub does not). This device really is only needed if you *don't* have a myQ-enabled opener.

My kids (and wife) leave the garage up all the time. I now get an alert for when it has remained open longer than an hour. Plus, I was consistently getting the “can you check the garage and arm the house” after I was already comfortable in bed. One look at my phone and it’s done!

Works well. Just make sure the door sensor and the base unit are no more than 10ft apart. I originally mounted the base unit opposite of the garage door but was too far away (25ft) to accurately operate the door and to record if the door was open or closed.

Had this installed to work with my Garage Door opener and it’s been working perfectly the app on my iPhone works perfectly with this unit The only thing is it relies on the strong Wi-Fi so if your garage door is far away from the router I would recommend an extender

We purchased this for our rental property. It allows us to keep tabs on the status of the garage door, when we're not around. Pairing was easy and linking everything on the MyQ app was a cinch. We liked it so much we bought another one for our primary residence. Highly recommend!

Overall this is a great product. Getting it set up and dialed in correctly was a little troublesome. I would purchase one again. I especially like that I know the status of my door even when I am traveling.

OMG! Why didn't I know about this sooner. This is one of the best purchases I have made ever regarding technology for the home. If you don't buy this after knowing the cost and its purpose, you need to see a psychiatrist. You won't be disappointed. I promise!

Easy to install! I just wish it would send notification that you actually left garage door open (in case of times you forgot to close or when it doesn't go down all the way and goes back up)

Works pretty well. It’s good to get the notification that your garage has closed, when you’re a person who is always if you haven’t closed the door or not. Sometimes it takes awhile for it to open.

My product does not turn the light on when operate, looking for review found out that this product has this problem. Expect to return it in case you choose one of this. Works well with the garage door.

Don't have much smart devices in home but this one has saved us on a few occasions already by notifying us the g-door was left open and also when the kids forgot their keys and were locked out. Easy to open and close door remotely from phone/app.

Works good just need to make sure you have a good connection. I think the internal wifi might be a little weak. Other then that I love using this and getting alerts when the garage is opened.
