The engineer..or engineering team that designed the charging / data cable should be taken out and shot!... it is NOT robust... it wears out and the the replacement cost is crazy!... why not use a micro USB? Anyway... one is stuck (at least for now) with a bad design. Did I mention the poor battery life... oh... sorry that's another review! good luck fit bit! l will no buy. Another device

Fit watch charger

Can't FitBit somehow standardize cables?

It is incredible frustrating that each version of Fitbit has it's own proprietary charging cable. WTF! Even the Charge and the Charge HR have differnt chargers. We have 3 Fitbits in the house each needing its own charging cable (and those get lost quickly). Dear Fitbit - how hard would it be to use microUSB like everyone else?
