Good Stretch, Flexible Options
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As someone with a lifetime of back issues — including the dreaded herniated disc — regular stretching and back “cracking” is a necessity, but one that I do carefully to avoid further injury. Throughout the past year I’ve been using an inexpensive foam roller, the same as you might find at your local gym. It helps, but it only offers the same stretch each time; there’s no adjustability unless I order more rollers in different sizes and/or densities. Enter Chirp. This cleanly-designed system features three foam and plastic wheels of varying sizes that provide varying degrees of pressure and stretch. Their open circle design makes them inherently flexible, with flexibility decreasing — and thus intensity increasing — as you go down in size. The three wheels arrived in a plain cardboard box disguised as a box of flour, apparently to discourage theft, which was a cute touch. They came with a short instructional manual that walks you through how to use the wheels and what you might expect from each size. The manual also suggests additional uses for the wheels, such as reliving muscle tension after exercising, so they’re not just for your back. Usage is straightforward: place a wheel and yourself flat on the ground, center your spine in the divot of the wheel’s foam, lean back and start rolling. The manual suggests starting with the largest size, as it offers the least intensity, and working “up” to the smaller sizes. While the stretch was the least intense, I found the largest wheel hardest to balance on, simply due to its size. In my use I’ve still began with that wheel, but after a few rolls I switch to the medium size, which I find most comfortable. Once I’ve rolled my back out with the medium for a bit, I switch to the small, which is noticeably more intense. Using all three wheels together offers a gradually-more-intense stretch and seems to me to do the most work. I found the smallest size perfect for rolling out sore muscles after exercising, so I was able to give my other foam roller away. Overall, these simple wheels do exactly what they’re advertised to do, with more flexibility than a single size of roller. Construction is high-quality and I didn’t worry about them breaking underneath me. The foam outer layer is pretty soft, which is good for cushion while rolling, but I would be careful not to damage it. This brings me to my chief complaint: Chirp includes no storage case, which means you’ll have three wheels literally rolling around if you’re not careful. As someone with a very curious kitten, this has meant storing them awkwardly on a high bookshelf. A storage case would be a more elegant solution and I feel like its inclusion is justified for the price.

After a few days my back feels better
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am the type of person who always wants my back cracked but I don't want other people do it. Using the Chirp wheels allows you to take care of your back easily without having to ask someone else for help. The set comes with 3 different sized wheels that store into each other and a easy to use guide book. The wheels come in three sizes including large (12"), medium (10"), and small (6"). According to the guide the large wheel allows you to have less pressure and more stretch, the medium wheel has about medium pressure and stretch, and the small wheel is for deep tissue with high pressure and low stretch. I highly recommend reading the guide book first as it is really easy to use and shows you how you can use all the wheels. The guide also show you different ways you can use the chirp wheels including for your legs, chest, shoulders, sitting at work, and after workout cool down practices. The wheels are a great tool for the whole family as you can use them in so many ways and they are so easy to use. I have personally been using them with my back to stretch and apply pressure to crack my back. It feels fantastic as you keep on using the Chirp wheels.

Helpful
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Chirp wheel for back pain comes in 3 sizes, I found the medium sized wheel helped me better then the other 2. It took a time to figure out which actually was more comfortable due to the fact that I have a messed up back slipped disks, arthritis & a couple other issues & get epidurals. I felt like the larger wheel was to big it did feel like I was working out my abs while balancing on it & roll up & down my spine. The smaller wheel was to much pressure on my back it was painful. The medium helped & most comfortable I started noticing some relief from tension & Knotts after using it for a couple days. It also helped crack my upper back which is normally hard to do, just remember to relax & breath if you don’t they won’t help or work as good. Which took me time to get use to I have a bad habit of holding my breath when I work out.

Best thing since my body bridge.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own a body bridge, and until now it was my favorite thing to stretch my back out. These Chirp Wheels feel awesome on my tight back. The secret is to use the wheel that you are comfortable with. I am a bit of a baby so I use the largest wheel. It uses more surface area so it is a less intense of a stretch. My wife has a greater tolerance for back stretching since she goes to the chiropractor often and gets regular manipulations. She uses the medium and smaller wheel. The secret is to relax your back while you are rolling on the wheel. You can feel and hear your back cracking and lining up. You will feel great afterwards. If you can do it for a few minutes even better. They are firm and soft on the surface so they are very comfortable. I can honestly recommend these for anyone that wants to line up and stretch their back for instant relief.

Great back pain reliever if used properly & safely
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am always wary of things that claim pain relief, so I was not sure how good the Chirp Wheel+ will be. However, I’m happy to say, at least for me and my wife, this works quite well as claimed, if you can figure out how to use it properly. I suffer from minor back pain, while my wife has a chronic one, so when we got this set, we first had a short consultation with our family physician just in case we didn't do any damage. Getting a thumbs up to try this out, we initially had some issue in “learning” how to use this correctly. Placing at correct spots on the back, and properly stretching on it takes some getting used to, especially for me since I’m not the fittest person out there. After doing some balancing act, I finally was able to get good relief consistently. My wife, who’s more fit and has a strong core, was able to use it with ease. The set comes in 3 sizes, so depending on needs I was able to change out the wheel conveniently. The rubberized outer layer is just soft enough, and the inner structure is rigid enough to take on the body weight with ease. The support is just right for my back. The make and finish is very good and robust for everyday use. In summary, this is an interesting contraction to relieve back pain, but I believe this is not for everyone. And anyone interested in getting this and suffering from chronic back pain issues should consult a doctor/chiropractor to make sure this will be helpful.

Amazing!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had my doubts but I was definitely impressed with the result. I am one of those people who at a very young age had some back injuries, nothing serious but over the years back pain becomes more common, well after having used this Chirp wheel for the first time, I felt, and I really tell you, a great relief in the lower back that I have not felt for a long time, definitely a routine that I will add to my day to day, in my experience, I have used the three different sizes wheels that indeed, the pressure increases as the wheel is smaller but the greater the relief, of course, this will depend on each person and their needs, it is recommended to consult with your doctor before using a product like this. At first, it may feel a bit uncomfortable if you have never used a product of this type, but as time goes by it becomes even relaxing, it is important to follow the instructions that come with the box, in order to achieve the desired results, I have nothing bad to say about this product, it is well made of a super resistant material, aesthetic and very fun color and very clear instructions, I am delighted with this product and of course I recommend it to anyone.

Great for back pain!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve dealt with tension in my upper back for years. In between my shoulder blades has always been a trouble spot for me. I go to the chiropractor regularly but still have tightness in my upper back. I’ve used a couple of different products to help with knots and discomfort with decent success. The Chirp Wheel has been an excellent edition to my pain relief arsenal. I started with the smaller wheel since I have used rollers and lacrosse balls regularly on my upper back. The small one worked great for me. I could immediately feel and hear my upper back open up. The other sizes work great too depending on your needs, but I love the smaller one. They are comfortable and very strong. The wheels are very easy to use. Just be sure to check out the instructions so you are using them properly and safely. If you suffer from tightness or stiffness in your mid to upper back, you should definitely give the Chirp Wheels a try! You’ll be glad you did.

Very Interesting Device
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a first for me. I’ve never seen nor heard of anything like this, much less used one. It’s a very interesting device to say the least. Using it is like nothing I’ve ever done and the feeing was very odd at first. I can’t decide if I like the way it feels or hate it. It’s a strange feeling of pain with the occasional release of pressure. The overall build of the wheels are great. They feel very sturdy and the padding feels good to the hand. I definitely see these lasting a long time if you take care of them. Using the wheel feels very unnatural at first, it’s a position that takes getting used to and at first the pain feels like you’re doing it wrong. I had in my head that I would immediately feel a good stretch, but instead it hurt pretty bad the first time. After using a few times though I felt like I got the hang of it and got my back to crack several times and felt like I was getting a good stretch. I could see these being useful as yoga equipment to stretch and relieve pressure. They are by no means relaxing nor the most enjoyable sensation. But if you use them often I could see these loosing up your back and releasing built up pressure. Overall a mixed bag for me. Not sure they’ll be part of my regular routine, but may use them to get a good back crack every now and then.

A Learning Curve, But Worth It
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Because of my job, I'm usually driving in the car or sitting at a desk, which has led to poor posture and tension and pain in my back. I was super excited to get this set, but I wasn't really expecting the intensity. If your back is tight, make sure you follow the directions for getting started. Trying to jump in with one of the smaller wheels or automatically trying to roll your back (like I did!) without giving your body a chance to get used to the wheel is a mistake. It took a few days of keeping my hips on the ground and stretching on the 12 inch wheel before I was secure enough to lift my hips and properly stretch. It was so worth the wait! I had immediate relief from my shoulder pains with just one minute on the wheel. I've used the smaller wheels a few times, but the pressure is much greater than the 12 inch wheel and I find them both painful. This could be because I still haven't worked out enough of the tension and knots in my back. I will keep trying to work my way to using them.

The Best Back Crack!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love these so much! Chirp has made the most simple thing make my back feel like a million dollars after a long day. Being that I work in an office, my back always hurts after work. Now I come home and a minute later, I am stretched out with a good crack or two of the back and on with the rest of my day. The larger one is the easiest to use and does a great job getting you stretched out and your back cracked. The middle is more extreme for the stretching and if you are larger, not as easy to use but better results. The smallest one is insane, the amount my back cracks and stretches is scary at first but the more I use it the better I feel. They are light weight and easy to store away. Would have liked a carry bag with them but I will grab something cheap. The rings are very sturdy and well made, you can tell they want to sell a quality product. Can you get the same results with a ball? I never was able to achieve the results the Chirp products give is much better and honestly way easier to store than a huge ball. I highly recommend the Chirp rings!

A great back stretch
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are a little awkward to use the first time. But after a bit you get used to what you need to do and they are awesome to use. I work at home full time now, I don’t have a lot of the tools they provided at work to loosen sore muscles (for non-office workers we still do get them… just not all over like when your hanging gutter all day) Sometimes when I am too into what I am doing I will go all day and suddenly realize that my back is crouched over and doesn’t want un crouch. The first time I used it after one of these days I realized exactly how nice it is. I have incorporated using this to stretch my back out throughout the day and I am able to more easily control the pinched feeling I get between my shoulder blade and spine from an old injury. I really have not used the middle sized one as the large one works well for me on the floor and the tiny one works well on the wall. I am not lightweight (260) but am still able to take full advantage of them. It would be worth watching the instructional video to see if you are able to get in the positions and do some of the movements required (half wall squats or an almost crab walk) to use these properly before buying them.

Awesome Back Reliever
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, I have major back and neck issues. I broke my back when I was younger and have more than likely permanent whiplash damage in my neck and now serve a destiny of trying out anything and everything to keep myself from being in constant pain. I go to the chiropractor, get fairly regular massages, use a lot of topical medicines, and of course do a lot of stretching and working out. With all of that in mind, needless to say, I love these Chirp wheels and am so excited to add them into my routine. I'm a little familiar with the concept of how these wheels work because I also own a foam roller and the smaller wheel kind of serves as the same purpose. All three wheels help stretch, lengthen and put the right type of pressure on your back and neck to make you feel great. The relief is long lasting too. The smaller wheel will definitely test your trigger points, but its so worth it. The package comes with a small booklet that walks you though how each wheel can be used and shows you some basic techniques. Super handy until you feel comfortable doing things on your own. I personally use the wheels 15 minutes per day so far and I feel overall awesome. I don't use each wheel every day, I base what one(s) I use on the intensity of my workouts or my level of general pain. 10/10 recommend for anyone that suffers from chronic back/neck pain, or just works out and wants a deep stretch and muscle relaxation.

Back Relief Never Felt So Good
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Chirp Wheel for Back Pain Relief is outstanding! I simply love them. As someone that experiences back pain from time to time following workouts I have been seeking a solution that provides relief while also allowing me to stretch. The Chirp Wheels do just that. They are built from solid material at the core and feel great when you use them on your back. After using the Chirp Wheel my back feels rejuvenated and I feel like a new person. My back feels stronger and I am able to workout the next day without limitation to movement or experiencing residual pain from the previous day. Each wheel is sized to provide varying support which is wonderful for different intensities of discomfort & pain. I plan to use the Chirp Wheels regularly as they can help with correcting posture which will likely reduce the frequency of back pain. I cannot say enough good things about the Chirp Wheels. Very simple solution with spectacular results. I highly recommend the Chirp Wheel for Back Pain Relief - 3 Pack. Your back will thank you.

Great Way to Stretch the Back
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I suffer from chronic back and neck pain, and have for a decade. I see a chiropractor every two weeks, have other home treatments, do tai chi, you name it, I do it to help my back and neck. I have a slight case of scoliosis as well that contributes to issues. I have wanted the chirp wheel for quite a while and was quite jazzed to get it. One of the biggest things I needed was something to stretch the muscles in the back to help the spine move more easily. Using a towel just didn't really do the trick and didn't give me the stretch and openness I needed. These things are great to just lay on and roll around for a few minutes every day to loosen the back and strengthen the muscles. It actually really does work your core as well, I notice when I am rolling on the wheels, I can feel my core activate, which always leads to better spinal support. The large wheel is my favorite, along with the medium. The large one I use on my lower to mid back, medium one on the upper back and shoulders (boy it gets my scapula good). Have not found much use for the smallest wheel, still trying to figure it out, sometimes I just lay on it on my neck to stretch it, it also can be used as a posture adjustment in the chair which I have not tried yet. All in all, great for anyone with chronic back issues.

The best rollers for back pain and muscle aches!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wish I had gotten this pack of three Chirp wheels long before I purchased all of my previous gimmichy foam rollers and "rolling pin" style muscle massagers. The three sizes included in this pack do it all for you. I use the smaller size to roll my hamstrings and quadriceps after hard leg workouts. The largest and medium sizes are what I am best tolerating right now for everyday back pain and stretching related to my work as a nurse. The included instructions that come with these rollers are great and tell you all you need to know about their use. I love these rollers even down to the fact they were shipped in a box that cleverly states "all-purpose white flour" on the outsight; dissuading porch pirates from stealing this package. All in all, an excellent addition to my lifestyle accessories for pain management!

Effective back pain relief
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used foam rollers in the past for light back pain. I've worked in IT for 15 years and basically live in a chair, in front of a computer screen. My lower back gets tight, and I sometimes feel discomfort throughout the day. The chirp wheels have helped stretch my back out and relieve a lot of the tension and soreness from sitting all the time. Sometimes I can get my back to crack, but the main point is to stretch the spine and alleviate muscle tension. So far these wheels have helped keep everything stretched out and more comfortable.

Works as advertised
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Order directly on the chirp wheel website. The chirp wheel works as advertised, but I'm kind of bummed that I ordered the 3 pack bundle right before they released the 4 inch wheel. Got the chirp wheel mostly for neck/upper back pain, so the smaller 4 inch wheel would've been great but now I have to spend $30 before shipping to get it (which I won't be doing anytime soon) when new customers can get it for $10 more in the 4 pack. I'd hope they add some filler type bundles or something in 2022 so previous customers can get some similar discounts as new customers.

Worked for me, not for my wife
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to like these wheels, I really did. For the most part, they worked as described and designed for me but my wife couldn't use them, they caused her too much discomfort. I tried the large and medium wheels, but never tried the smallest wheel due to the issues I had with the medium wheel. I haven't tried using the smallest wheel as a lumbar support for my chair at the house, but that's one of the use cases Chirp suggests. First - the large wheel worked for me with the smallest amount of hassle. Admittedly, getting the position and movement right was a bit of a wonky experience, but after doing a few rolls on it, I got the hang of it and my back actually felt more stretched out afterwards. That was a great feeling. What wasn't great was how the material of the wheels seem to grab and stick to clothing. On Chrip's website, they show a woman who's using the wheel wearing a sweater with no issue. I was wearing a regular, cotton T-shirt and it clung to my shirt, so at first, I ended up slightly choking myself because my shirt's collar was pulling against my throat. The medium wheel caused a noticeable degree of discomfort for me, especially when I got to my lower back. The amount of pressure I felt was a lot, and made me nervous to try out the smallest wheel. My wife tried it and had the same issue with the wheel sticking to her shirt, and she also said she couldn't tell if it was lining up with her spine or not. She said it felt like you had to already be in a physically fit, routine workout state for these things to work for you. Based on the degree of discomfort I felt on the medium wheel, the finickiness of the wheel clinging to fabric, and the fact that my wife couldn't really use them either, I wouldn't recommend this product.
