Not sure if it was due to trying to pull too much power or a faulty unit, but it seems to have damaged a rental vehicle’s electrical system. Take this with a grain of salt; it’s entirely possible it was due to my negligence rather than the product.

They should rename from cobra to crap. The first one did not work. They gave me a second one but this time I tried it and it worked but as soon as I connected a device it stopped working. Do not do not do not buy cobra.

Auto-shut off will occur when the safe operating temperature has been exceeded, auto-shutdown will occur if the DC input exceeds safe operating levels, the inverter will automatically shut off to prevent a dead battery condition, the inverter will not operate if connected incorrectly to the power source, and will sound an alarm to indicate a low battery voltage condition. Trips my car breaker

Possibility a limitation of my car's cigarette lighter plug and maximum amperage. Will try direct connect to battery next.

Very user friendly inverter.

Worked flawlessly and the usb ports nice feature.

Didnt work for what i wanted but its ok

Other then that it works fine wuth everything else. I just need more then 500w which i assume is peak wattage.
