Plenty of juice to run about anything you could need in the car. I even ran an electric heating pad for my daughter when her stomach was hurting. I use mainly to charge drill batteries, faster phone charging and charge my laptop on the go. If I needed to I could even bring along my printer if I needed to print documents on the go.

Fits underneath the shifter console of the Prius. Relatively quiet. Wish it had three outlets and more available power. It was all I could afford. Boondocking/car camping.

This 500 watt power inverter appears to be very well made and functions quite well. It stays cool when under load, and it has plenty of power for the 180 watt AC adapter to power my gaming laptop. Only wish I had purchased a true sine wave inverter, but for my current use, this model works just fine.

The charger is very good. Sadly the cord that connects to the cars 12v compartment is too small it needs to be extended longer

This power inverter delivered everything I was looking for. It was very easy to connect to necessary power sources to make it operational. We had power outage for 3 days recently and we were able to keep our iPhones and laptop computer charged. I would highly recommend this inverter. Easy to use and plan on taking it with us on trips camping.

I bought one, tried it on two cars with the cigarette plug and returned it because I thought it was dead on arrival. Best Buy exchanged it for another one, no questions asked. I had the same problem with the second one...then I found these reviews! Once I fabricated a new cigarette plug it worked great. Very handy for keeping devices charged during car camping. Only other problem I have is that the design is rather chunky with mostly empty space inside- this really limits your mounting options. The design could be made much slimmer if the body was metal and functioned as a proper heat sink - the current design looks like a metal heat sink, but is just silver painted plastic.

for the price this was perfect and a life saver and it comes with cigerette lighter connector too

works great up to the power it was made for. the best set up is to the battery, lower power pluged in.

It’s working great, I’ve pulled all 500 Watts out of it for over an hour and it works. It’s noticeably less money than similar ones, from an established brand and I’m very happy with it.

Excellent 500w power supply. However, if you plan on using the full 500w then you will need to be connected directly to the battery. For this I would recommend that you get this installed somewhat permanently through Geek Squad AutoTechs. The unit can still be remkved, somewhat, easily with the thumb screws that secure the wires in and probably after removing whatever screws might be holding it down. The unit itself comes with 2 different types of wiring. One is a cigarette / power outlet plug that is good for a maximum of 150w. The other is a short battery clamp style to use directly with the battery. This really only allows usage near your battery location.

So far so good. Used the product to change a laptop computer and it worked perfectly fine. The fan kicked in to keep the unit from overheating.

This thing is a beast works great for powering my 17 inch MacBook Pro. It’s more bulky than others but so far it’s more reliable.

This is a great product to have for use inside the vehicle while driving. It powers up my laptop, printer, and charging my cellphone and Ipad all at the same time. A "Must-Have" item in the vehicle. KL
