I only needed it to plug my laptop in while in the car. It couldn’t handle my laptop and alarmed very loudly. When the alarm finally stopped it smelled so bad I unplugged it.

12V Adaptor Plug is too large for cigarette port

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The device works, but the plug-in to use it with your vehicle's 12V "cigarette" port is too wide and long -- it can be used but the slightest bump or wiggle will cause it to fall out, or it will gradually come out over time. Whenever it does, the device beeps really obnoxiously loud for losing power. It is not just a problem with my car -- i checked it in 3 ports in an SUV and 1 port in a Sedan; same issue in all. Unreliable and would not recommend this.

Works good for most part

Used it in an RV conversion for several different appliances with one car battery as the power source. Worked well with one appliance or lights and charging a phone or other accessory. Our power source depleted quickly and needs to upgrade. Inverter is a good product needing a better power source than I used.

I thought it overheated but I'm not sure if that was normal. So I can not recommend to purchase or not. Do your own research.

Posted .Thanks for your feedback. If the inverter begins to overheat, it will trigger a temperature overload. The red light will blink and the unit will shut down automatically to protect itself. It will then monitor the temperature and attempt to restart once levels are safe. This is a normal safety feature built into the inverter.
