In my 65 mile round trip daily commute I get one false alarm near one specific shopping center...and I pass like 10 shopping centers. I am happy with the lack of false alarms. I would now consider an upgrade with a detector that tells me what direction the signal is originating from. Also, I hate the cord hanging down from my windshield but that's 98% of detectors out there so I'd consider a cordless in the future.

The radar protector works good. It was easy to mount and easy instructions to work

Gets a lot of unwanted frequencies but I think it's the FA band...I could be remembering wrong that police radars use. If you mod or tune your car and might possibly have a slight lead foot this will save you many tickets. Please drive safe and don't drink and drive. This detects radars but won't improve your driving or prevent bad driving or user error. Stay safe.

This product is good for price. Had a lot of false alerts but did pick up 3 different bands which most of the time turned out to be false. Unless you buy a radar in the $400 plus range, most are not worth buying. I returned mine within a week of purchase and did not find it worth while to have not knowing if the alert was real or not.

This is my third Cobra detector over the years. Not because of the product but due to car accidents. I like how well Cobra picks up the laser etc. I can mute if needed. I get what I need at a reasonable price

Does what it is supposed to do. It keeps buzzing when there is a radar it detects and doesn’t stop until the radar is away, which is very annoying, but that’s exactly what it is supposed to be doing. Beeps like crazy every time we drive by a grocery store.

You can purchase very high end detectors but for the average driver not sure it is worth it. For this price range the detector does everything that is needed. You will not get 100% detection with out false alerts on any item but this detector is excellent for the everyday driver that wants to be alerted of speed traps and radar shoots happening. Well worth the $

Easy to use & ready to go right out of the box. I bought it on the start of a 3,600 mile trip & plugged it in. ***Check settings*** After plugging it in I took 2 minutes to check settings. Had to turn on Laser Detector & VG-2 that factory had off by default . Nothing beats it for the price

Works great, minimum false alarms, Great value for someone on a budget

I bought it before driving to Las Vegas and it saves me twice on my way to Las Vegas from Los Angeles. It went off in the dark I couldn’t see why it was going off slowed down and seen him in the side off the road. Same on my way home to Los Angeles saved me again.

Really easy to read during day or night all false alarms are gone.
