This thing was definitely bigger and heavier than expected. Their website said it could be used with cats, I guess if you had a savannah cat it would. Actual GPS location isn't very accurate. Bounced all over the place(I could be holding the tracker and it would say the tracker was a half mile away). Whenever I tried to turn on real time tracking the app would take 10+ minutes to load when I had great cell service. Save your money and get a Tractive tracker instead.

it lures you into monthly subscription. Also Batter works only 1 day. if you wanna connect it to the battery you have to buy special cords that cost somewhat more or same than this device. VERY BAD decision. used it only for 3 days now its somewhere in Garage, TOTAL GARBAGE

I am giving a 3 star for this. I have not owned any type of gps tracking devises like this so don't have anything to compare to from experience. That said I will do my best to explain why I am giving it a 3 star. For starters, I feel it's a bit too bulky. It has a little weight to it. it does not come with any kind of mounting accessories. I would have liked to see maybe an adaptor that it goes into that you could mount and then easily detach this from the mount when you need to charge it. On that note about charging, it uses micro usb. with the size, it would have been nice to have at least a usb-c style port on it. With the lack of having mounting options with this, I feel you are limited to where you can place it. Being that you have to be careful not to place it someplace where it will move around too much. If you do mount it like with zip ties or something, you would have to make it easy to get to and close enough to get the charging cable to reach and charge. Or you would have to unmount it to charge. You also need to get a subscription. I don't mind that too much, but I would like to see it come with at least a 30-day trial. And the price I feel it pricy, but again, I have not tried or used other gps trackers to know what their prices are. And the real time tracking? It tracks every minute, which I was hoping you could change to every 10 seconds of so, but it does not. And if you are looking at the route, it basically pings every minute (you can set in 1-minute increments up to 5 min) but it will basically just draw a straight line from each ping to the next. So, you might have a line that goes thru houses if person makes a turn or something. Now some cool futures that I do enjoy. I do like that you can ping it and it will beep for you. This would be great if it was a lot smaller and you had it on your keys and lost them. But if you bring it into your home to charge, or in car and then can't find it, at least you can ping it. With the app, you can see how the battery is doing. have had this for a week and battery is at about 25%. I do wish it said what the percentage was over it just showing a battery icon and green inside. So far, my favorite future is being able to set up zones. you can set up a zone around your home and can adjust how far away the zone is so that if the tracker leaves that area, it will notify you. You can also set up multiple zones like if you have kids that go to school, or work you can set up zones for that, so you know when kids are at school, work etc. Set up was simple. Overall, not bad but I just feel it misses the mark. bulky, no mounting hardware, need to buy a subscription to use (no free trial period). But if those things don't bother you, then it does have some neat futures with the app. set fence zones, share location, ping it. All in all, hard to say if I recommend or not. I don't have the experience yet with enough of these to be able to compare it to know what is out there.

The devise is kinda bulky for a dogs collar. The device didnt last but 30 hours on full charge and the fee to run the device is hidden until you sign up and its 25 a month. Not worth it

When i got home and open it, it had been used. it was all scratched up and would not keep a charged Nobody said anything about it being used they just sold it to me like it was new. The store had to know it was used before they sold it to me. because he had to go look for it and he went to a back room to get it.

Read all the specifics. I don't remember reading it anywhere but for this item to work, it requires a subscription. Without a subscription, the battery does fast because it's always looking for a signal. CRAP!!

I’ve tried a lot of other tracking devices, including those generic ones you can purchase anywhere. This device attests to the saying, you get what you pay for. The Cube tracker is the perfect mix of hardware and software. First the hardware, super well built, responsive button, compact and solid—I am not afraid to strap it onto anything. Then the software—the app is so easy to use. I cannot go wrong with anything I click. Setting up the device is easy. Pairing was a breeze and the app can recognize the device within a couple of minutes. One thing, the app requested for me to turn on my location all the time. I have some hesitation with allowing the my phone’s location all the time to perfectly use the app. I don’t know if I am just mistaking it—but I am thinking, it should be the location of the Cube all the time, not my phone. So I need to understand why I need to have my location accessed to read where the Cube is. Anyway, back to the app, I just click the Cube in the app and I see it’s location. It tracks where it is and it also tracks where it has been—the exact path. So that’s great. I can see where the tracker has been day-by-day. The map it provides is not too shabby either—there are notable POIs in the map, like restaurants, community centers, post offices, etc. There are pretty cool features on it too—like sharing the location with others, getting alerts in reference to my location, even fencing areas so it can save battery or it can let you know whether the cube has reached a certain location I set up. Speaking of saving battery, I have been using it for a week, attached to another car, without using the save battery feature of the Cube, and I still have 68%. I started on a full charge and after a week of use, I still have 68% battery—which is so cool. And another cool feature is, the Cube has a button that you can program—press it a certain number of times and it can notify someone of a custom message, like where I am or if I need help. It is a really useful device. There is a data subscription though, which is expected because it has to communicate with you wherever it is. But it is a perfect companion with the kids (especially with the dangers out there), or our other cars, etc. I super recommend!
