    I was able to watch a movie on my laptop

    I was very pleased with the service I got. I had bought a DVD player, and I needed to get it to work so I could watch a movie. Thanks to the help I got I was able to watch a movie I had wanted to see for months because it was not in theaters nor online. The movie was Johnny Depp movie Minamata which should have gotten much more exposure than it did because it dealt with the effects of mercury poisoning in Japan.

    Geek Squad Never Gives Up!

    The agents worked tirelessly to correct the problem with the living room tv. They represented Geek Squad and Best Buy honorably. After they’re trying to correct the problem, they determined the best thing for us to do was to have AT&T send us another black box for us to get cable once again. We greatly appreciated their time and effort in trying to fix our viewing issues. We thank you all!

    Samsung TV and Vizio Sounds Bar

    Agent was very helpful, though i was upset that the surround sound bar was acting up did to upgrades for the tv. Apparently when we purchased the surround sound, we were not advised to purchase a Samsung to match our tv and as upgrades Halen for the tv, the sound bar will not cooperate.

    We recently purchased a 70" LG tv and absolutely love every feature a TV can offer. Recently I pushed the wrong button and wound up requiring Geek squad attention. Mr. Patino, a Squad tech, came to the rescue and in a short period of time his expertise returned our TV back to functionality. We are now back to enjoying our fabu;ouf LG TV. We salute Mr. Patino.

    First time using the Geek Squad

    The agent worked on my system and determined that it was an older Spectrum cable box I was using that prevented the sound bar from working with my Samsung television. He recommended I exchange it for a newer cable box and explained the process for me to connect it. I obtained a new cable box that same day and followed the instructions the agent gave me. The hookup was easy and the system is working great.

    Tech arrived at 11:00 AM, when in fact I had been informed by text that the window was 3:00 - 7:00 PM. No call from Tech advising. that he was on his way and would arrive shortly. Tech was here all of 10 minutes to "fix" the problem. Said that service call should have been "set up redo" rather than troubleshoot for which I was charged $129.95! Problem reappeared five weeks later.

    Geek squad was able to figure out my issue of why my upstairs tv didn’t work - needed stronger WiFi signal to spread out thru the house. He solved it and now we have not issues.

    Two members of the Geek squad came to my home to complete the install of our new 65” Sony TV. They obviously knew what they were doing because the smart tv is now smart. The original install left a lot to be desired but these guys knew what they were doing. My only issue was was the speed of the install. I should of asked more questions.

    Installing team was fast, thorough, and committed. Follow up…another story. Get it right out front, because it is short of impossible to communicate with Iinstallers after. I had equipment issues, not installation problems….in the end, after 2 months, they did replace the faulty equipment, and made good.

    We have used at least 4 different guys. Everyone of them are great, know exactly what they are doing, are courteous, recognize we have a hard time understanding how they accomplish what they do, explain their work in plain English and make the whole experience a pleasant one.

    The technician was on time and came in house put on butties over his shoes brought in LG Tv and Sono’s speakers and installed them and gave instructions on how to use TV and speakers. Cleand up all cartons and put them in his Van. Very personal young man and professional. I have to say I was really happy with there service and will definitely call them back One happy customer!! Thanks Geek Squad.

    Geek Squad Fixed My TV

    They fixed the problem I had connecting my Samsung TV with Comcast and pairing my remote. Before they came, I was on the phone with Comcast for over an hour trying to fix it, and they could not help me at all. It took the Geek Squad less than half an hour to fix all the problems. Thank You Geek Squad!

    Geek Squad quickly reconnected WiFi back to TV

    The two members who came to our home were professional and polite. They were able to reconnect our wi-fi to our television quickly explaining what they did so we can do it if the disconnect happens again. The disconnect was due to a storm. We have been customers of the Geek Squad even before Best Buy purchased this great service.

    These two gentlemen totally trouble shouted our system and rewired the system to make it easier and more usable for us. They realized that the issue would take more time than originally planned but took the time to “fix” it! They were amazing and so caring for our home. Thank you!

    I had a problem with my new TV, at least once and often twice a week the tv would turn off in the middle of watching it. I played with the setting and no luck. Best Buy under the TotalTech plan sent someone out to my house, he ordered a new power source and another part from LG, quick professional job, since then I have not had the issue in 2 weeks.

    Excellent service and instruction from the Best Buy technician. She walked me through multiple updates to try to fix my remote issue. I am not technically gifted so I appreciate her patience with me. She never made me feel bad. We weren’t able to get the issue corrected so she scheduled a in home visit with a Best Buy Geek Squad technician. The issue was resolved within the visit.
