tv techs are awesome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the agents took a picture of tv said would order part (whole back panel) then a second trip same thing, then came out with the panel, turned out to be wrong one. they went back and was to call when part came in. Never happened. then got a call saying he was coming out to trouble shoot. I cancelled that told them it had been done twice already, then get a text saying all was done taken care of. Call Geek again tell them it was not done . send out same tec he again took pictures then called said they were replacing the tv that is set up for Oct. 4 hope all goes well now.

Geek Squad determined my problems quickly!

He also diagnosed why my home theater system voice issues were occurring and fixed that issue just as quickly! Top notch service!!!

The Geek Squad provides excellent tech support!

After checking a few things in my apps they were able to fix the problems, whatever they were. I’m not tech savvy enough to understand what they told me what was wrong but I know that my TV has not caused me anymore problems. I advised a friend who is considering a new smart TV to make sure she also gets tech support like the Geek Squad unless she is more tech savvy than me!

They are friendly and so knowledgeable. When explaining how to operate the television, they don’t make you feel stupid. They are patient and kind. It’s like inviting a friend into your home. I’ve been a Best Buy member for over ten years and will continue. Even if I don’t need them for the year, the money is well spent when I know they will be here, if I need them.

Now the previous person who came on November 5th was terrible. If he knew what he was doing I wouldn't need this follow-up appointment today.

Great installation, very professional

They also installed Dolby Atmos speakers in the ceiling and programmed all devices with one remote.

Incompenent customer Service

I have tried to resolve an issue with a TV returned to Best Buy after a Home Delivery. The TV was too large for the space so I returned it to their store in Eatontown NJ. The store accepted the TV back but would not provide a refund as the TV was "still being delivered". i was promised that the order would be refunded within 24 hours. when this didnt happen i called back and was told that i have to return to the store to get any action. i live 7 hours away and had reurned to my home. i spoke to at least 25 telephone and on line agents. often my calls were dropped and none helped me. this is an organization that is completely incompetent.

Geek Squad came out to fix my sound bar.

I've never been unhappy on how any of the employees that work for the Geek squad. They are willing to answer any questions or issues that I may have. I was hoping that when they came to fix my sound bar that the green line that is on my TV would be so ethi g we could fix. I was upset to learn that it could not be fixed. He was pleasant and genuinely sorry that he could not fix it. My LG is less than 3 years old. I'm sorry that Best Buy did not contact me that I could have bought an extended warranty.

The Best part of “Best Buy”

I love new technology but I don’t pretend to know how to install it or set it up. That’s where the Geek Squad comes to the rescue. My wife and I purchased the latest UHD Television that Samsung has to offer along with the latest Blu-ray player and sound bar as well as a Harmony remote to control it all in our living room. We also purchased a new receiver for our theater surround sound system for our family movie room. The Geek Squad professionally installed and programmed it perfectly. We had an issue with the operation of the new television and sound bar. The Geek Squad made a return visit and remedied the issue at no additional charge. They explained everything in detail and were genuinely concerned that we were completely satisfied with our purchase and their service. Thanks to their helpful, friendly and understanding customer service I will always shop at Best Buy knowing I have Geek Squad service to make sure I get the most out of every purchase.
