Geek squad visited to review my streaming problem on my family TV. The problem - Roku stick fails after about one hour of use. The video and/or audio or both lose their stream connection after thirty minutes to one hour. The stick was fine for about one year, then started failing a few months ago. I plugged the stick from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2, with the same problem result. I purchased a new Roku stick, replacing the old, with the same problem result. The Geek crew were very polite, but focused on the Roku products, not the TV. They tested the streaming power to the TV, found no problem. The Geek crew sold me an HDMI extension cord, separating the Roku stick from the HDMI ports on the TV. Thirty minutes after their departure, the Roku connection failed again. Both Roku products work perfectly well on another TV in the house. I am convinced that there is a thermal heat related flaw with the HDMI board on the TV, that surfaces over time. I was told by Geeks that what I have described is not possible. I am not satisfied with the result and will ultimately prove that this flaw exists in the TV.
