    I was impressed that the Geek Squad agent reached out to us the day before our scheduled service call to insure he understood the scope of our problem. While at our house he thoroughly investigated the software of the TV set to determine the problem. He spent all the the time with us that we needed to understand what the issue with the TV set was and what was his fix. I would welcome this young man to help us any time he wants.

    The technicians went over my system and adjusted some things. Got it up and running again! They were very nice, thorough and explained what they were doing. Great service!

    So helpful in fixing what the third party who was hired out to install the tv did. Jacob was friendly, prompt and efficient. He knew exactly what to do to get the wall install perfect.

    The geek Squad came. They were friendly and solved the problem. I have surround sound with lots of wires. It was not working and the Geek Squad fixed it. I am very grateful. I am glad that I have this service.

    My saga about buying a new TV & sound bar is a long one. I purchased both on Oct, 4 & they did not work properly until Dec. 28th. The picture & sound were out of sync for that long. I made& received many calls to & from Best Buy & a few techs from the Geel Squad came to my house to fix. But nothing worked until Lee Hopper, Field Mgr (ASM) of the Phoenix Metro Area called, listened to my problems. I’m sure there’s a thick file on me in the system. Lee sent Andrew Wing, tech Agent to my house & he really understood, saw & heard it problems & fixed it. One issue remained but he’d given me his phone number & he returned the following day & totally FIXED everything, Give these 2 men a promotion, a raise, a bonus & a bunch of stock!!

    Bree listened and then fixed the issues we had, while explaining what she was doing. She was also able to tweak some things on our TV, which made the picture much better. She was great.

    The Geed Squad is Awesome... however the company needs to be a better job communicating changes in the Geek Squad subscription. The Geek Squad get a 5 for Excellent service. The company gets a 1 for Poor service.

    The reason I was willing to pay $200 for the mounting and setup service was because this is the first item I bought a 70' TV and my home came with wall built in home theater system which needed some setup. Although, I manage to figure out receiver/speaker/TV connection, I needed some help to somehow connect all devices to the TV directly and not to the receiver. The first guy from Geek Squad was great but he wasn't able to help with all technical stuff (more specifically connecting all devices to the TV directly and not to the receiver. Another problem was the apps on TV wouldn't play on the speaker) so I had to help myself and make phone calls to LG and Onkyo to figure all of it on my own. I realized all I needed was an ARC HDMI cable. Next, I needed help to put my new cable through the wall because it wasn't available the first time so I went to BB store and the staff was kind enough to setup the $100 service for free. Unfortunately, the guy who came out this time turned out to be Andy Vu, Mr. Know-it-all, who talks too much and gets very little done, to be honest. Simple task of running the wires through the wall that the first guy (who was actually new to the job) was able to do easily took Andy a lot of time. He constantly argued and kept suggesting other ideas that I had no interest in. I simply asked him to do the job I requested BB for i.e. to run an hdmi cable through the wall, that's it. I told him I tested the cable and it works fine. I just need it to go through the wall so it doesn't look ugly hanging out. Andy responded "Don't worry about what you tested" and suggested that he has ways he can make my preexisting cables to do the job. I knew those wouldn't work as they are regular HDMI cable, not ARC HDMI cable. After wasting almost 30 to 40 minutes, he failed and basically lied to me that the task was done. When I tested the results, it didn't do what it was supposed to (TV apps didn't work on speakers because TV was connected via regular cable and I tested that already). Andy made lame excuses for it when he knew his approach was wrong which he just didn't want to admit. I asked him over and over again to just run the new cable through the wall. After much arguing, he agreed because I showed how truly dissatisfied I was with his service. My time was wasted and I had a bad experience with him. Next time, I am asking BB to not send this guy for any service.
