    I made this appointment to get help setting up our smart lock, but for some reason, Best Buy had it categorized as Home Theater Troubleshooting Service, and that's what technician, Elvin, expected when he arrived. Nevertheless, he patiently helped us connect our smart lock to our WiFi. It took many tries, but he did it - something my fairly handy husband could not do for weeks. So happy we made the appointment! We were almost ready to throw out 2 expensive smart locks (they were past the return window), but with Elvin's help, we no longer have to.

    On Aug. 3, Johnny from the Soquel, CA Store came with the replacement Samsung Soundbar and had it installed and working (on the existing wall mount) in short order. He was the same tech that identified the previously purchased Samsung Sound Bar (that the Geek Squad installed/wall-mounted on April 7, along with the new Samsung TV) as probably internally defective, since he had spent some time here previously in trying to make it work again after I had called to report that it quit pairing with the dedicated TV.

    Although the Geek Squad couldn’t fix the TV-could be foxes but you could buy a tv for the same price. They seemed knowledgeable and answered questions about another tv we may purchase. They were personable and got to work immediately.

    Geek Squad is a great deal. I believe $135 with the Best Buy membership. They came out and fixed the issue I was having with the sound bar and TV syncing. Awesome value for the money.

    How Long Does it Take to Replace a Remote Control?

    The remote control stopped working with the television that came with it. In November, I was inBest Buy and was asked to call the Geek Squad so I did and made an appointment for November 16th. Javier came out and told me the remote was no good and he would be ordering another remote that never came. Now it is December and he finally came very close to year ending and all is well.

    If I could put this at 0 stars I would. This has been the worst experience buying a computer ever. I bought brand new gaming pc from here and it came with a completely defective graphics card and had super outdated software. This company has horrible customer service and was an absolute hassle to try to contact someone who can try to help me resolve my problem and in the end they didn’t even help me at all they just took my information and said have a nice day we will contact you soon. Geek squad I’m sorry but y’all are so useless and I will never be purchasing a product from y’all ever again and I hope everyone who plans to buy from y’all sees this and changes their mind because y’all are an absolute train wreck of a business. DO NOT BUY THE OPEN BOX HP OMEN 30 L IM LEAVING A PICTURE OF WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE
