    Support of a smart TV to get full operating range

    The technician stated several times that the Samsung television was old and with his lack of personality, enthusiasm, and difficulty with the English language, it became apparent that he simply did not want to attempt to offer support and instruction for maximum streaming capability. His mentioning of newer models over and over was a turn off and in fact, I accused him of trying to make a sales effort, rather than product support hoping this would encourage the focus on service, but was wrong. I'd recommend the service but not this gentleman. I dismissed him nicely, rather than trying to continue to work with him, which was frustrating, even at no cost. Time is money. He was wasting mine and his time. This was atypical and a huge, but disappointing surprise.

    Picked up HP Desk Top from installation of new hard drive. I had previously requested help with "burning a disc, and advised training would be done at pick up, At pick up the person helping was nice but knew nothing of previous promises. He didn't know how but went to the back to ask. He came back and said it would require I buy more software (?) I would have appreciated a suggestion that they could handle that at that time.

    Very efficient installation of home theater sound system, but seemed eager to leave without an adequate run thru of how to operate it. We had to ask.

    The video issue not quite resolved. The video on my plasma tv was not being transmitted although the audio was. It just stopped working. The 3 HDMI ports on the back of tv stopped functioning. However, "HDMI 4" works but the DVD player (brand new) has to be plugged directly to the tv instead of the receiver's sound system in order for video to work. After Geek Sqd, - if you want to watch cable - you have to switch the tv's HDMI cable from the dvd player to cable box and vise-versa. Really? You shouldn't have to as that was not a problem before. Geek Sqd. couldn't figure it out.

    The agent was not able to program my tv remote and pair to my phone. About three years ago a geek quickly performed the job without any difficulty.

    Best Buy Geek squad did not call or show up. It is my understand that the employee was sick, which I understand;However, not not notifying me was very disrespectful. After all this I still am waiting for them to fulfill their original appointment. I have been a Best Buy customer for over 40 years and this was eye opening.

    Worked at it diligently when he finally arrived. The issue seems complicated as cannot be resolved unless we change the current way it has been configured and working for 5 years. Sounds questionable.

    I bought a TV , soundbar, and wallmount 10/28/21 with delivery and installation 11/13. Now Best Buy has cancelled the appointment and my order because it's not available. It was available 10/28 and in stock. 1- They could've tagged a TV as sold! but instead are now out of stock. They have provided no solution, no response to when the TV or soundbar will be back in stock. 2- I could've brought home the TV and soundbar on 10/28/21 when I bought it because it was available at the store. If there's a supply issue, why don't they suggest this. The worst part is no one has provided answers or a solution.

    Appointment was schedule but no one showed up so I can't do a review of the work done. It is now August and the Appoint has been scheduled and cancelled 3 times. I drove over to the Store talked Best Buy management and I believe a tech will be at my house to fix the issue on August 14th

    IAM VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED Disgusted. With the BEST BUY SERVICE THEY SAID THEY WOULD PROVIDE TO ME, BUT NEVER SHOWED UP TWO TIMES AND ON EACH NO-SHOW THERE WAS NOT EVEN A PHONE CALL MADE. I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY COULD NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. IT IS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AT BEST BUY. THEY DON’T CARE IF YOU’RE A SINGLE MOM DON’T GET PAID FOR TWO DAYS. YOU ARE NOT AT WORK WAITING FOR THEIR REPRESENTATIVE TO SHOW UP AND ALL THE SUPERVISORS THERE’S NOTHING THEY CAN DO TO MAKE IT RIGHT OR CORRECT EXCEPT FOR SAY THEY’RE SORRY BEST BUY DOESN’T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS THEY DON’T CARE HOW TO MAKE PROBLEMS RIGHT CAUSE THEY CARE ABOUT IS THE INITIAL MONEY INITIAL PURCHASE AFTER THAT, YOU’RE SINKING AND TRYING TO SWIM ALONE WITH NO HELP FROM BEST BUY HI I WAS ON THE PHONE FOR OVER ONE HOUR.     Do not use their service!!! I called and setup an appointment and THEIR person on the phone decided what appointment I needed. The technician came and immediately said this wasn’t a troubleshooting call but a more expensive service call. He told me he could reprogram my remote but this service call would be $149. I called Best Buy immediately and asked if they would credit the troubleshooting service of $129 and they said absolutely no problem. So I paid the additional $149 and waited for the credit. After 5 calls I’m still waiting for my $129 credit!! Best Buy sucks and they need to stop outsourcing their customer service calls and setup appointments!!! I was very clear with the setup appointment person what I needed! Now I can’t ever get a person to return my call!

    Look up the person that came to my house I forgot his name he was very good but corporate was awful almost 2 weeks for Sony parts. Then with very little compensation. Will never buy anything there again. Going to PC Richard for my next TV
