    Pretty bad service. It’s Ben over 45 days and still the issue is not resolved. It’s definitely not worth being a total tech member as the technicians are pretty bad and all they want to do is for customers to buy new ones instead of repairing the old one. The technician canceled First appointment saying he is sick and came after 30 days only to say that they have the wrong part. It’s has been almost a week since then, nobody has called to reschedule with the right part. Never buy totaltech membership. It’s total waste

    I have had the Geek Squad to my house two different times to address a problem with my MartinLogan subwoofer. This wireless subwoofer will power on sporadically and sometimes will never come on. I have made numerous phone calls and have had two different technicians evaluate the situation but the problem has not been eliminated. I have been promised a new subwoofer and/or having the subwoofer taken off wireless and hard wired. Two times the technicians did not have the necessary wire to hard wire the subwoofer and/or did not have a new subwoofer as promised. This situation has been going on for three months (since installation in January) with no satisfactory solution. I am very pleased with the Sonos system installed in my great room but my MartinLogan theater system is a total disappointment as is the service from the Geek Squad!

    Gave my sister my old TV for Christmas and had it mounted. After about 2 weeks in her house it failed. Based on what she told me, it sounded like the main board. I live a few hours away so I scheduled an appointment to have it repaired as it is an Oled C7 and worth at least running a diagnostic on. On the day of the appointment, I get a call from the GS rep telling me that it was the panel and cost prohibitive to replace. Totally understand. Call my sister and find out a rep never came out but rather diagnosed the issue over the phone. I drive the few hours to her house and take it to a local repair shop. The tech spends about 30 minutes with it and determines that it was the main board. He ordered in the part, replaced it, and then set it back up at my sister's. Very let down.

    The tech really didn't accomplish anything. He did make a reccomendation to purchase an additional piece of equipment.In other words couldn't really do anything about the problem.But thanks for stopping by.

    I waited all day today and no one showed up. This has been rescheduled to Saturday June 1st. No one called today an I followed up to find the person was not going to make the appointment. Look at my history with technical service. The Best Buy record is horrible. I expect a full credit since I’ve taken two days out of my schedule for nothing

    Made an appointment but no one every showed up. someone called to tell me that it was going to cost more than what I paid for then when I questioned the charge, they hung up on me in mid-sentence.

    Greek Squad came out over over a week ago to give me a consultation on sonos home speakers, outdoor sonos speakers and a video alarm system. He said he would email me his recommendations and would send an installation tech out to see if the sonos speakers can be wall mounted. It has been over a week and I have not heard from him. I sent him a follow up email a few days ago with no response. Very surprising considering all of my other encounters with in store and at home employees have been AMAZING!

    Home theater service only hooked up 3 of the total surround sound speakers. Two speakers are not working, so, I wouldn't say that the job was completed.

    No return calls to rectify botched service call

    Thought the problem was fixed, which initially it was (the home theater projector turning off on its own every 20 mins). But the "fix" created new problems (now the receiver shuts off every 20 mins). I called the original tech back 3 times (he left his card and said to call him if I had any issues). I still have not received a return call or offer to help. And I am paying for "My Best Buy Total!"

    Recalibrated my Sonos signal. However when I asked the two Techs to run a two minute Sonos speaker calibration, which your techs have done every time they have come out before they refused to do so. They stated new company policy. Why then did you send two technicians, no lifting involved. If that’s the new mantra for the company will consider buying equipment elsewhere, very disappointed. I bought three tv’s and a complete sound system last year. Sad

    We are still waiting for the part. So the sound on our TV can be fixed. It's a real pain getting up every 15 to 20 min. to unplug and plug the sound bar in so we have sound again.

    Didn’t Happen. Showed up for 2 tasks. 1st was for setting up security system. Lacked knowledge of the product. What he did I could have done. Second task was to help with a problem with my fire tv recast box. Didn’t happen. Guess they should have a checklist to be crossed off and signed. I forgot about it myself, but was concerned about the security system. This is only one person, I’ve previously had good geek squad people before. Make sure you get someone knowledgeable about the product

    Useless Geek Squad Visit

    To start, I believe the individual technician was polite, tried to do a good job, was efficient. The issue is that I do not enjoy shredding $100 bills and doing so would have created the exact same results. Although, in the past I have seen the exact same set up (mirroring a computer to TV) function in my house, it inexplicably stopped doing so (with no change to any aspect of the system). The tech was completely unable to do anything to rectify the problem and his only suggestion was to "hard wire" the set up with HDMI cables. I knew that would work from earlier experience, but I wanted to get rid of the cables, hence the Activison/Roku set up in the first place. I just felt that if I could get it to work at one point, the Geek Squad should be able to get it to work permanently........but apparently not. Yet I am out the full $100.......never again.

    The agents came, said they would need to get a part, and then left. No work order was ever filed when They got back. This was according to the geek squad helpline. No other contact was had. A month later, we are starting all over again. This behavior deserves negative stars. We have had good survive in store, however this was our first time using the in home survive as total tech members. I am not very pleased with the lack of any results! We are going back to the store to try and resolve this. The TV only works for about 60 seconds then turns off.

    I called Magnolia over a week ago and was told someone would call me in 2-4 days. Noone has called me back. I was told to call Magnolia by your rep because the geek squad rep said he wasn’t able to reprogram our Savant remotes after he installed our new AT&T cable box. Could you please have someone from Magnolia return our call? This had been so frustrating. Thank you very much.

    really? it takes a week for “lamar “ from the geek squad to come and troubleshoot my surround sound system. yet he is incapable of you GPS? i am very disabled i can’t watch my system in my den that’s what i contacted y’all again really? send a supervisor from the geek squad to my home and i will show you what happened! sucks so here i sit still no geek squad then after waiting for two weeks to contact y’all and trying make another appointment your so/called supervisor hung up on me.
