    4 weeks still waiting on repair

    Situation: I originally bought a LG washer and dryer from Best Buy and when delivered we found out it was too large for the area. Therefore I returned/exchanged the LG washer and dryer with a Samsung washer and dryer. Warranty was purchased with the original purchase. Issue: The warranty was never transferred over to the Samsung washer and dryer. The system still shows the LG products for registration for warranty. From speaking with several Customer Service Reps, the warranty was never switched over, which should have been done at the time of exchange. Issue: I called in a Service Call due to my washer not working properly. The appointment was set up and I was told I would receive a call one day prior to appointment. The day of the appointment I reached out to Bestbuy for a status update. I was informed that the appointment was cancelled and the company sent an email. The Customer Service Rep asked me about the email. I stated why would I look for an email, when I was told someone would call me. In addition, if the appointment was being cancelled that deserves a phone call to confirm. Issue: Later I looked through my email to find the cancellation notice. It contained vague information, not stating what was being cancelled. When I called the company they couldn't tell me anything about the cancellation, nor could they tell me the company they were cancelling for. Issue: Tuesday, 26 Jan 21, I was informed by one Customer Service Rep that there was nothing he could do. I called back and spoke with someone else who advised that she was doing a work order to get the product changed over to reflect the Samsung products. She told me to call back on Friday to set up an appointment, being the process takes 2 to 3 days. Issue: Tuesday, 2 Feb 21, I called back to get an update and set up an appointment to repair my washer. I called Best Buy Geek Squad 13 times before I spoke with someone who finally assisted me. Several Customer Service Reps hung up on me, while others transferred me to dead end calls. I was left on hold by 3 Reps and advised by a few Reps that I needed to go to the store in order to correct this and if I didn't, there was nothing they could do to assist me. One Rep advised there was nothing he could do or will do to assist me and that there was no one else I could contact and he would not contact anyone. After asking several times, he did give me the email to Customer Care and told me he could send an email, but everything has been done. I need to wait. At this time I am still waiting on a call back to give me an update on the warranty reflecting the correct products. It will be 4 months next week, dealing with a process that only takes 2-3 days per Best Buy Geek Squad Customer Care. I would like an update as soon as possible. This is not an acceptable way to treat customers.

    I just moved into a new home with all new tech and appliance needs. The “Squad” has been absolutely wonderful. They are professional, helpful and punctual.

    Home Geeks and instore Geeks need same system.

    The Manchester Store Geeks did everything suggested by the home visit Geeks but only because I had written down what they said while at my home. The home visit Geeks said they would write everything down for the Manchester Store Geeks. The first thing the Manchester store Geeks said to me is that the home visit Geeks use a different system and therefore it would be difficult to find out what they had recommended!

    Geek squad came in and put all of my TV and surround sound and TV mount up and came back out when I had a problem with the TV mount and at no charge to me!!!
