    NOT ANOTHER DOLLAR TO BEST BUY

    Extremely extremely disappointed with the fall from grace Best Buy is displaying. I've purchased computers, headphones, smart watches, appliances and cell phones exclusively from Best Buy for the better part of the last decade. That ends today. I recently purchased a Breville juicer. I loved it so much I convinced my dad and mother in law to follow suit and they purchased the same model. We all used curbside pick up to limit exposure. Pick up was quick and easy. They happened to score the juicer on sale and let me know of the price change so I could take advantage of the price match guarantee that Best Buy likes to boast about every possible chance. I was excited to take advantage of this feature and tried to call in to be helped through the process. The phone lines are an absolute train wreck. No matter how early you call, you're on hold for hours and no one ever comes to the line. I was talking to a friend who was experiencing the same thing and suggested I try the live chat feature online. Both Pamela Cooper and her supervisor, Andrew White were astoundingly unhelpful. They insisted it was out of time frame and took no responsibility for the fact that the phone lines are not a viable outlet for customer concerns or that I've been trying to address this for weeks. Neither were willing to help or compromise in any way even though I was not able to get through the phone lines and don't feel comfortable tending to this matter in store due to COVID. I was even blocked from responding when Andrew came on to "assist". I felt dismissed and shoved aside. Completely unacceptable to treat your customers this way, especially those who have spent a sizeable amount at this company and whose household carries THREE Best Buy credit cards. We will be paying our balances in full and cancelling our accounts ASAP. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLE WHO GIVE YOU THEIR LOYAL BUSINESS. I will be looking elsewhere for electronics and appliances and I'm sure those companies will be happy to have my hard earned dollars. WHAT A JOKE.
