    Printer installation

    The only reason I gave this a one star rating is because the first person I talked to was very helpful. If it were possible, I would have given it a -5 stars. The actual agent S. Manau was completely ineffective. Some of the problems were: 1) While he was searching for the printer driver, I noticed he was searching for the wrong printer. When I pointed this out to him a second time (no response from the first time), he came back with "alright!" 2) While I was watching what he was doing, I was reading the installation guide lines that cam with the printer only to find out that he had skipped steps 2-4. a) Step 2 says "Note: Do not connect your product to your computer yet." He had already connected it, or at least was trying to connect it. b) Step 3 explains how to load the ink. Not done yet. c) Step 4 explains how to load the paper. Also, not done yet. 3) The agent went straight to Step 5, which is the installation of the software, which he never completed. He closed the session without saying or writing anything to me. 4) After he had closed the session, we found out that we could no longer open our email, which worked perfectly prior to the agent controlling our computer. Fortunately, I was able to start the entire installation process over myself and complete it. The service was useless, and we purchase the total tech support.     Worst. Service, Ever.

    Bought four appliances for my aunt's house while she was in the hospital. Three were not completely installed and getting someone to come back and complete the work has been impossible. Either no appointments available when family is in town or someone comes but says they aren't the right person to do the work. Refrigerator door was not reversed as requested so they left it as is. Didn't recognize the water line for the icemaker so left without hooking the icemaker up. We said to leave the stove so we could clean underneath, but they left the new hood in the corner for some reason. I've tried repeatedly to get someone to come back when family will be there. After more than an hour on the phone the manager wouldn't come to the phone and they finally pretended to give me an appointment, but the subcontractor didn't actually have that time. Subcontractor said that Best Buy would call me to apologize. Never happened. Called the subcontractor to arrange appointment when family was in town two weeks later, but Best Buy never got back to them to approve the work (the work that Best Buy had contracted them to do at the appointment they didn't have). By that time, even if paid the contractor out of pocket they didn't have any appointments until, wait for it, no family would be there to let them in. I had the idea that they should give me a credit I could use to hire my own contractor. No deal. They are dedicated to not giving me a real appointment, not completing the work that was paid for months ago, and leaving my aunt hanging with no icemaker, a refrigerator door that won't open, a range hood still in the box, and an anti-tip bracket stuck in the bottom drawer of the range. Good grief this has been the worst customer service ever. Never ever ever ever buying appliances from Best Buy again. Beware.
