    Poor service for install following online purchase

    I was very displeased with the Daytona Beach Best Buy and the unwillingness of the general manager Peter, to correct an oversight on their end. They failed to allocate enough time to radio install their schedule to do a complete install and were willing only to complete a portion of it. One of their techs called a little over an hour prior to scheduled install time to inform me of the scheduling conflict and proceeded to tell me when I asked to speak with the manager that "the manager can't make the Techs work on a vehicle" so no need to talk with the manager. When I finally got to speak with Peter, The Daytona Beach store manager, he was unwilling to adjust the schedule on their end wanting to push off until another day. I got the distinct impression from my interaction with Daytona Best Buy that since it was purchased and scheduled online they weren't concerned with holding up there end of the purchase agreement for the install. My family spends a lot of money at Daytona Best Buy buying electronics and service plans for computers - no more, we will be taking our business elsewhere. I purchased radio (In dash digital receiver) and backup camera online, purchase went smooth - no complaints. Although a lengthy process (over an hour) I was able get a refund and the online help was solicitous and accepted my complaint promising I would receive email follow ups. These follow ups, really are not going to make a difference at this point I won't feel comfortable spending money with an organization that takes my business for granted. The one star (poor) is an over rating.
