    Agents checked my monitor and tried to fix but unable, so they removed it and put up my small TV in its place. I still cannot use the music cd's because no speakers

    New cell phone debacle

    Purchased Galaxy S22 Ultra while visiting out of State. No cases in stock. No purchase of protection plan as we have insurance through carrier. Phone fell out of pocket and hit patio day 2. Called customer service; 1st rep refused to provide any info at all, was completely disrespectful, clueless, and rude, and only transferred me to rep 2 when told not to hang up on me. Rep 2 (nicer) scheduled repair in our home State where we would be the next day. Upon arrival to scheduled Store, no Samsung repair Tech onsite. Attempts to send us to outside quick repair or 35 minute drive to another BestBuy simply identified we would have to pay entirely out of pocket without explanation as to whether or not warranty options or insurance billing might apply. Again, nothing explained or priced, simply self-dedueced. Upon return home, rep 4, again clueless, had to transfer me to an "expert" who finally confirmed no warranty or insurance billing would apply. I have no problem filing claim elsewhere, but information and assistance would be preferred over a wild goose chase! Will never recommend or shop BestBuy again.

    An independant agent installed my TV mount successfully, however this man although being pleasant and repair focused was very slovenly dressed with powdery dirty hands, clothes, and equipment. He left this residue all over the tv and (the lights w remote that came with mount fell off the back of tv), even while he tried to stick it to tv, due to this dirty powdery stuff he had all over him. It appeared he was not clean & showered in his physical appearence. I would not want him to ever come in my house again.

    Pay annually for geek squad, one benefit being free installation and take away of appliences. I ordered a new over the stove microwave, scheduled install date. I then found an open box microwave in Orlando before that date and bought that as well( so at this point bought 2 microwaves). I called Best buy before I went and picked this microwave up just to make sure everything would run seamlessly as far as making sure once I picked this microwave up but they would still be able to install it and they told me that's fine call them let them know. So of course when I cancelled the first microwave it was an Indian man apparently they outsource to India, who canceled the installation and then scheduled a repair.. so at this point now even though I pay annually for geek squad they said because I did not schedule an installation day the exact day I picked up the microwave I now have to pay $162 for installation even though it's supposed to be free and they cannot add it on because it should have been added on when I picked up the microwave. And this is after being transferred to about five different people, I'm completely appalled that I pay a ridiculous amount annually for this kind of service

    I purchased TotalTech program, 3 ringflood lights and a swann 8 channel security camera package from BestBuy on Saturday 10/16/21. TotalTech members get free installation of the lights and cameras. When checking out, BestBuy's app prompted to enter appointment dates for the cameras. When I tried to enter, prompted again that I would be allowed to schedule the installations of the cameras and lights after I paid for the order. However, I was only provided an opportunity to schedule an appointment for the cameras and not the lights. So, I cancelled all 3 lights 15 minutes after I placed the order. I then placed and additional order for the swan lights. However, on Sunday I received 1 flood light and 1 camera. My credit card was charged for three swann cameras even though I only ordered one. I had an installation of the swann cameras scheduled for 10/19/21--BestBuy was a no show. I had an installation scheduled for 10/23/21 for the installation of the swann scheduled for 10/23/21--BestBuy was again a no show. Obviously something fraudulent is going on in their distribution center because my card has unauthorized charges on it from BestBuy and BestBuy refuses to refund the unauthorized charges. BestBuy also refuses to honor the TotalTech agreement and install the cameras and flood light. This is a scam as I am paying for services that BestBuy is not honoring. In addition, fraudulent charges are being placed on my card when making purchases online.

    TV and stereo receiver installation

    The geek squad person did an okay job of the installation. I have Sony OLED 65 Bravia TV and a Denon receiver. He did good job of mouthing my speakers on the wall. But the TV not so good. It takes 45-55 secs for the TV to fire up by the time it goes through all the sub routines. I don’t think this person has installed it correctly. The speakers alternate between the TV and external speakers before finally settling on the external speakers

    Worst Customer Service Ever!

    Ordered a full stainless steel appliance set almost a year ago. Finally received them MONTHS later with a lot of frustration. While they were at my home, the delivery driver called TWICE to let me know they had dropped my fridge...no once but TWICE. There was extensive damage to my fridge and broken tile flooring in my kitchen. I have received nothing but the run around since. Zero customer service, was told they could not get us another fridge and I have repeatedly called the Daphne store for a resolution. Today, someone showed up at my home and called upset that no one was there (no one told us he was coming and we were at work). He was told to measure for a new drawer (apparently we still aren't getting a new fridge, only a drawer). We had to pay someone to fix our kitchen floor (not getting reimbursed for that either) and now will have to wait for someone to come back. Zero customer service, zero concern, Zero help, Zero interest in making it right, poor scheduling and communication. Just a horrible experience.

    Awful service and customer support

    I got an issue with my laptop and it was repaired by geek squad under manufacturer warranty (they replace the screen) but in about 3 weeks I got another issue (electric short circuit in motherboard o something like that). It's been a month since I brought it to best buy for repair and they no updates. After I called to their support service they sent an email that my laptop is fixed and I should wait for next updates. I talked to Gustavo in geeks squad support, who is unprofessional. I told him that I had to bought another laptop(at best buy too) cause I need a computer for work and I cannot be without laptop and just want a refund for the laptop with multiple issues. On what he said that's my personal problems and they are not responsible for selling me laptop with defective parts. That's really bad experience. How is that possible that best buy doesn't want to take responsibility on that type of issues... I understand that laptops can have manufacturer issues but the second issue happened right after first repair which tend me to think that first repair could've cause the second issue.

    Horrible Customer Service

    I had someone come take a look at my insignia 5 month old washer that was leaking, which I also purchased the warranty for. Was told it was a known issue for that washer but it couldn’t be repaired. I received an exchange confirmation number a couple of days later to which I took to the store and was told it was an approved exchange for a different item I don’t currently own and was then directed to call the geek squad number to make that change on the exchange approval. I have spoken to approximately 10 people and I’ve had a bad experience every time. I have repeated myself many, many times and every time I’m transferred. Geek Squad customer service is very unprofessional. I received very unprofessional answers when I expressed my frustrations and was hung up on. Having worked many years in customer service myself, I did not feel like anyone was willing to help. The agents’ tone of voice and the way they were trying to speak over me while trying to explain the issue, is extremely unprofessional to say the least. This all made me feel like it was MY fault the washer broke and that purchasing the warranty was a waste of money. I received no help other than someone coming to check my washer again.

    Worst Buy - Geek squad,Customer Service Clueless

    I ordered an appliance 8 days back, and till today no one in Best buy has any idea when it will be installed. I was today a time of 7:30AM - 1:30pm today, the delivery and installation will be made. So far I have been on phone and hold for over 2 hours. I can never speak directly to the store I want. The calling service always connects you to an overseas agent who read the some verbatim lines they are taught to appease a customer without giving real solution. So far I had the pleasure of speak to people from Manila, Phillipines, Mexico City, Mexico and couple others. Even today, no one was able to solve the issue and blamed this on other department. The ticket number raised is INC 8931115 if someone within bestbuy cares. I will need to look at other places or buy directly for the company for this order. This was really a "Worst Buy".

    Worst customer experience I've ever had... by far!! I purchased around $5000 worth of tv and sound equipment along with TotalTech membership. My delivery and installation dates were cancelled several times without notice. It took almost 2 months from the time of purchase for delivery and install with several misteps along the way. I was told that I would receive a minimum 10% discount on my total order for all of the inconvenience. They gave me a case number, but said that it was up to me to call back and initiate the discount after everything was finally delivered and installed. When I called back to get my discount, I was transferred 4 times before reaching the right department. Once in the right department, I was told that in fact I would receive a 10% discount only on the highest price item in my order -- so rather than an approximate $500 discount I would only receive a $290 discount. I asked to talk to a manager and have been on hold now for 20 minutes listening to background music with no interaction from a human. I have a feeling I was transferred to nobody with the hopes that I would just hang up. Unbelievably bad customer experience from beginning to end!!!! I will never shop at Best Buy again and will let others know of my experience. It's unfortunate for Best Buy because I had started discussions with the store I bought the TV equipment from about redoing my whole kitchen with high-end professional grade appliances. Not going to happen now.

    Geek Squad fail

    Yikes!! IDK what's happened to the standards here but I'm VERY frustrated and disappointed in the treatment I've received. I took my computer in on Dec 8, paid the initial check in fee and authorized payment for additional charges. I was told it would take 3 weeks to get it back. In those 3 weeks I've heard nothing so I called the store yesterday as soon as they opened. The 1st person told me it showed the job was completed but my computer hadn't been checked into the store. I was transferred to another associate who again said the repair was done but the computer was still at the warehouse. He would check when it was scheduled for delivery and call me back. At 5 last night I called back and was in hold for over 30 minutes. When someone finally answered they were at the National call center and couldn't give me any information although they would message the store to contact me either by phone or email. Nothing!! This morning I get a call and am told it looks like they haven't even begun the repairs and it's probably going to be at least another 2-3 weeks!!!! This is so not how my past experiences with Best Buy have been and it probably may be the last time I will do business with them!!

    Geek Squad, Home Theatre Install

    VERY IMPORTANT!!! PLEASE READ!! AVOID GETTING GEEK SQUAD SERVICES AT ALL COST! There is absolutely no communication between Geek Squad corporate and the tech who comes onsite to get the job done, this is a terrible waste of time. The corporate customer care have no clue what the customer needs, they don't have the right SKU's. When Geek Squad is onsite they give you a completely different quote which is not what you expect. I wanted a home theater projector mount and cables concealed and Best Buy customer care put in an order for a TV mount. 20 days later Geek Squad comes onsite and says that's not the right SKU to get the job done you have to pay not $$ but $$$$ amount. I had to ask them to leave immediately. After spending hours and hours talking to the customer care i was again rescheduled. 15 days later the tech calls to tell me the exact same thing that the customer care has different order than the one that he's going to come and get the work done. The supervisor is equally useless and of no help. This is super frustrating and not worth one's time. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO TO BEST BUY for any HOME THEATRE installation/Work. I have never had such a horrible experience and a waste of time with such a huge corporate company.
