No customer service; and I take in cookies!

Called customer service; they were to return call; they did not. Called customer service and waited on hold for 30 minutes; when service agent came online they verified who I was and then the customer service agent dropped the call. Customer service did not call back! No service rendered. Went online to get assistance. Waited for agent. First agent transferred me because he could not help. Second agent did not communicate at all. Third agent was unable to help; mostly due to language barrier and not being trained to look at past records, understand past records or refund a simple double charge for geek squad annual fees,

Worst Customer Service EVER!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ordered a dryer on 2/12 it was delivered damaged, submitted claim for replacement, on 3 different occasions the dryer was sent to my billing address even after complaining the first two times the third time they sent it to the wrong address again I was fed up at that point called in requested a refund, can you believe they picked the dryer up at the correct address on 4/10/21 two whole months later. What a disaster, I was supposed to have a manager call me twice, NEVER received a call back. Best Buy’s customer service is terrible, clearly your people are not trained properly, horrible horrible experience.

the worst and most crooked!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.we bought a Samsung washer and dryer in July of 2017. we bought a three year extended warranty with the machines. in the first few months the washer quit working. the geek squad told us their warranty doesn't begin until the one year warranty from the manufacturer ends and we would have to contact the manufacturer. so we contacted them and after much trouble they replaced the washer. now the dryer has broken and the geek squad tells us our warranty started when we bought the machines and is now expired. these people are so crooked it is not even funny. we will never buy from best buy again and the geek squad has our distain! everyone should stop buying from best buy and drive them into bankruptcy!

Geek Squad failed 3 times to install my dishwasher

I guess this was because was a third party company. For my dishwasher installation a disaster!. First they deliver the dishwasher but not install it. Usually delays a re due to delay in the delivery of the item. Here? Nobody knows why. So I had to wait a month. Then a guy come to pick up the old dishwasher without anybody able to disconnect it. Here I am booking another appointment. The window is between 1:30 to 5:30. is 6:30 and after me calling they changed the window to 8:00 PM!!!! No dinner time for me then? I have taken 3 days off for this service and I even purchased the full service. REALLY BAD!!!

Worst customer service - will never shop here agai

I purchased a pair of headphones for my mother for Christmas - they never arrived. When I track the item, it just says "delayed." I'm being told that Best Buy cannot process a reship or refund given that I'm outside of the 30 days window of the estimated arrival date (which is caveated all over the website and confirmation emails as not being reliable due to COVID, etc.). I don't think it's an acceptable solution for me to have to work this out with the Hawaiian local post office which is where my mother currently lives. Would appreciate your assistance.

Do not get Delivery!!!

The most contradicting employees, conflicting answers, and argumentative staff. It has been the absolutle most frustratung experience. They have poor training and employees have told me things "that they dont gave the ability to do." My fridge and oven were 2 seperate orders but supposed to arrive on 2/19 and was cancelled because the driver was stuck in Texas. But I spoke to an employee that morning telling me they would expedite my order and it should only be 2 or 3 business days, but i had to call back to schedule... So i get a prompt to do so, and now my oven was deliver one week later on 2/26, and my fridge tomorrow 3/5. 7 and 24 days later!! Employees have NO WAY of modifying orders to accomdate their promises. They will not answer your questions regarding policies and how they do things. They will argue with you and be contradicting to the last employee. I was offered compensation in regards to a bestbuy giftcard... That doesnt replace the money i have had to spend on food and eating out the last 14 days because i sold my oven and fridge before the 2/26 delivery date... It would be one thing if their customer service was friendly but they are ANYTHING BUT THAT.

Don't do it

Likely a compressor. We purchased the additional coverage for maintenance via geek squad. They said soonest someone could come was may 14. (A week) So we packaged coolers of what we could salvage. Hundreds of dollars of food/meds lost. Man comes to fix and says "likely the compressor so we will have to send a third party out Tuesday". (May 18). Those folks call and say it will actually be may 19 (today). Person comes and says it's the compressor. We will notify you when someone can come to fix it after they order the part. So now elderly woman has things including meds in coolers and they can't seem to send anyone that has a clue. This is bad business. Ridiculousness.

Best Buy takes your money and never delivers

Two weeks later, their staff showed up two hours after the promised window. The staff looked at our washroom and observed that we needed a stacking unit. Obviously. That’s what we ordered. They said the order did not include stacking devices and they didn’t have them in the truck so delivery would be rescheduled. In advance of the re-order, I chatted with customer service for ~90 minutes to ensure the right equipment would be included. They staff informed me that the equipment is always included. Apparently the delivery staff simply lied. On the new date, they call two hours after the delivery window to say the appliance is dented. I say I still want it. They drive off. You can't keep my money for a month and not give me any product.

Horrible delivery and service

They kept canceling deliveries, on the date of the delivery, so we were home waiting for them and they didn't show. Two months later it was finally delivered. The installers took a two minute look and said they couldn't do it and started to leave. They said they could leave the appliances. It took us 30 days to get an appointment with a contractor to install. Immediately the washer was broken and shook so badly it is scary. I called and explained the situation and was told that since 15 days had past since the delivery we couldn't make a claim and had to go through the manufacturer. I explained their screw ups with the delivery and installation and none of it mattered. The brand new machine is broken and I now have to deal with the manufacturer. If I could give them less than a "one" I would.

Poor Customer Service and Extended Warranty

Have a top of the love me washer that has had serious mechanical problems since it was delivered. Now unit has had a major transmission failure. GeekSquad “Extended Warranty “ policy is making me wait 30 days to get fixed or replaced. Cutting up my BestBuy credit card after this experience. The Customer Service is terrible period and no one should have to make 28 calls in 24 hour period and get this kind of treatment. Never buying anything from Bestbuy again.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I BOUGHT A SAMSUNG BRAND GAS DRYER EXACTLY 17 DAYS LATER ,I CALLED BECAUSE SUPPOSEDLY THE INSTALLATION HAD NOT BEEN ABLE TO BE DONE SUCCESSFULLY AND THEY CAME 17 DAYS LATER TO DO THE INSTALLATION BECAUSE THE PART WAS MISSING .DUE TO THIS ,WHEN I CALLED AGAIN, ONLY TWO DAYS MORE THAN 15 THEY DID NOT RESOLVE THE ISSUE OF THE DRYER ,SENT ME TO SAMSUNG ,WHO WAS THE WORST CUSTUMER SERVICE IN USA .I PAY A FIVE-YEAR WARRANTY AND THEY DID'T SOLVE ANYTHING FOR ME FOR TWO DAYS(HOLLIDAYS ,BECAUSE WAS ON DECEMBER 25).I AM VERY UPSET WHIT BEST BUY.NEVER BUY AGAIN WITH THEY ,AND NEVER BUY A WARRANTY.

Surround sound unit
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.One star for showing up but that’s about it, waited some time for my appointment for the employees to tell me that I would have to go to in person to the store and bring the speakers with me, when I get to the store I was told that I would need the whole surround sound unit and not just the speakers that were bad for it to get sent out for service plus a $50 shipping fee in top of the $200 that I have already paid to be a total tech member. When you sing up for total tech you feel like you’re fully covered and have peace of mind until a problem actually occurs and realize you have to fork out a substantial amount for shipping cost. I hope non of my other purchases give me problems because it’s only going to add to my total price paid for being a total tech member. I can already tell I won’t be renewing my membership.

Horrible Service

It’s been a nightmare of delays, and lies. I was even stood up by one of their technicians, because he didn’t think his company would pay him. Waited 7 hours for no reason. Also, the staff has no problem telling you one lie after another. The worse part is BB doesn’t care. I have purchased thousands of dollars of appliances from BB, but can’t ever again. Goodman Solutions is a time consuming nightmare. Never dealt with a company full of so many liars!!! It’s been over 35 days, and my microwave is still not repaired!!!

Geek Squad Appliance delivery strikes out

The first attempt after the 4 hour window was exceeded, I called customer service to hear that "the truck broke down". However, I never received any information for the delivery company to confirm this issue. The Second attempt, I was told they needed a four man crew to get the item up my stairway so I rescheduled. The third and last attempt, after the customer service agent confirmed I needed a four man crew, after I called and confirmed a four man crew the night before delivery, they delivery crew showed up with only two and I was told I had to reschedule for a fourth time. I have cancelled the order and will try Home Depot or Lowe's. Pricing is the same and hopefully they can read key notes to make a successful delivery.

Which we ended up installing ourselves. Had an appointment to get it installed no one showed up and now its a fight to try to get a refund from where the company is not professional enough to show up to do the services but mark it as completed. Now I have to wait over 24 hours again to try to call back to get a refund for services not done.

I picked up the refrigerator, dishwasher, and the microwave. However, the range was not available for pickup, therefore, it was scheduled for delivery. Best Buy canceled my range delivery 4 TIMES. The fourth time I asked for a cancellation because I really need a one and can’t wait any longer. The amount was $1341. I received $999. I called Best Buy and Dorian from customer service told me that the price on my other items had to be adjusted because I cancelled the range. He told me that I could do nothing about it and that he was afraid he could not transferred me to anyone else to help me with the situation. Worst customer service representative I have encountered in many years.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an appointment at the Sandy, UT, Best Buy with the 'Geek Squad' to have a dashcam installed; when I arrived, I was indifferently told I had a "Consultation" appointment - NOWHERE on the confirmation does it reference that; in fact, on their computer, it said "INSTALL DASHCAM" and the confirmation says "Bring the Following:•All devices you would like installed." Absolutely horrible service. Best Buy just does not care - it must be nice to have more customers than you need.

Ten minutes had gone by and no one asked us if we needed help. Many employees just walked passed us. We walked around the store trying to find somebody to help us. Then we went to customer service asked if we could get some help. The lady said someone would be right back at the car radio section to help us. Then 15 min went by and no body came back to help we left.

I've been a repeat customer for years but currently had a fairly new Sony Tv we purchased just coming up on 2 yrs. We powered it off for the nite to have it never power back on. Was scheduled for the 8th of September but told by the technician it was probably the power board needimg replacement but due to schedules they wouldn't be able to come out until September 21st 7am-1pm window. At 1:30 on the 21st I called and was bounced around too many times to count and then told my appointment was canceled but without comments on why and i need to schedule a new appointment. Then was told the system was not showing any available appointments and that I would need to call back to see if the schedule will open. This was one of the worst examples of customer service I've witnessed and still as of today no appointment.... Please Do better!
