No more Best Buy

It was an $18 discount and I bought a 2 year warranty for 39.99. (If I didn't buy the warranty I was told there could be no return). When I received the 50" tv the legs to the tv did not fit. I asked for new legs but was told that Best Buy wasn't able to do that and that I need to return the whole unit. I even asked if they could just bring me a new unit when they picked the open box one up. I was told they couldn't do that. I returned the unit and they received the tv on 3/8/22. I called today to see when my money would be refunded and was told 45 days. That is the end of April. No more Best Buy. I learned my lesson

No way to connect to my local store and the lady who answered for the national Best Buy first hung up on me because she didn’t know what she was doing then when I called back she proceeded to give me attitude and did not help what so ever. Absolutely disappointed with everything about their customer service.

Total Tech isnt worth it

My account showed the appointment . Received 4 e mails confirming appointment. Took day off work .I called Total tech support 3 hours into delivery window and they confirmed appointment still scheduled. At end of delivery window I called again only to be told that the appointment had been cancelled 10 days ago and needed to be rescheduled!!!! This is shambolic treatment of a loyal BB customer. I have now lost complete confidence in the organisation and wished I hadn’t wasted my money buying Total Tech.

Bad service and rude customer service review
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Deserved 0 star rating. Ordered laptop, 1 hour later I got email saying getting ready for your order. And 3 plus hours later, my order is canceled( no reason was mentioned why). Wanted to know why my order was canceled, I reached out to customer service representative, after 1 hour and 15 mins hold. They said because they were out of that product, that why they canceled my order and they charged me. The amount will be refund me after 5 days or it may take longer. I question, if they didn’t have the product how they let me buy online or how my order went through? They just robbed people money and waste others time. By the way their customer service is very rude and they don’t know how to talk. Never buy product from here. Really disappointed how they handled the situation.

Diagnose TV problem

Instead, he went through a few settings on the TV and said he thought it was a power supply board in the TV. He told us to call a service number to find out what the cost would be to repair/replace the board so we could decide whether to repair or replace the TV. The number he gave said there was not the way it worked. We should have received that information at the time of the visit. Extremely disappointed. This was the second service "failure" we've encountered since being a member since March 2023.

Poor service

Had a brand new tv delivered today while it looks like the box was open come to find out it’s missing the screws to my tv! Called customer service 4 times the rep had the nerve to tell me to go buy the screws! Aren’t the screws suppose to come with a brand new tv! And they want offer me a $10 gift card lmao. They can keep their $10! I’ll never buy from Best Buy again! And I had to choose one star if I could I wouldn’t have given any stars!

Geek Squad phone non service

Yesterday, after waiting on hold 15 minutes, I gave up the phone and drove 30 minutes one way just to be told in 15 seconds that they didn't work on my phone. I refused to buy a new one from them because this terrible service (not answering the phone) cost me 1 hour round trip to go into their store in this pandemic for nothing. It will be much longer than 3 years next time. I can get whatever I want online - and it will not be ordered from Best Buy. The appropriate star rating is 0 stars as their customer service is non existent.

Faulty macbook m1 air

Screen would freeze and function keys won't work. I tried reinstalling the OS and it didn't work. Now they won't exchange/return the product and the customer care won't even escalate it. I bought it during holidays and every retailer provides 1 month return policy during this period. Please be very careful , their returns policy is very bad. Also, When i told the technical problem to tech squad , the first response was about selling a "wonderful" insurance policy.

Bad Products unless you purchase a tech plan

Every device I've purchased from here has had complications. I didn't go with a tech plan for my recent purchase of a Pixel 4a and I've had nothing but problems after the 15 day return window. They said I could return it to google within 1 year warranty, but that is almost impossible to do as they couldn't even give me the contact info to do that. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM BEST BUY AGAIN!!

Horrible customer service

Placed an online order on 6/27, and without notifying me, it was cancelled by the system on 6/28....but the best part is, they did not cancel the parts that go with what I purchased. The only reason I found out about anything at all, is because of my statement. The person on customer service was NOT HELPFUL at all. My last purchase at Best Buy for a VERY LONG TIME.

Stolen phone/ Filing a claim

Not worth the wait

I purchased a new Samsung tablet and asked about options for screen protectors. I was told they don't carry any and to go to Amazon instead before I was able to point to the sales person that there was one on the shelf. Then when I went to have the geek squad install it, they had me wait for an hour. They had done it within minutes but left it sitting in the back room and never checked with me. I will not return. I will do what their manager said and use Amazon instead.

BEST BUY ONLINE IS TERRIBLE

I spent almost 3000 dollars on a refrigerator that I ordered 4 times and the guys delivering came up with excuses and never wanted to bring up my refrigerator, they even lied to us about the fridge being too big and saying that they measured it, then I measured the space and it was perfect for it to fit. EVERY SINGLE TIME IT WAS AN EXCUSE TO NOT BRING IT UP! THESE GUYS DO NOT WANT TO DO THEIR JOB! PLEASE WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT ORDER FROM BEST BUY ONLINE!

Horrible service

I decided to buy some appliances with warranties. The third party company they use is a joke. So far 2 no shows and still trying to get another appt. they had no problem taking my money for these warranties but it’s almost a month that I’ve been trying to get someone to come fix my microwave. I lost 2 days pay so I could be at home for these no shows. Such a disgrace. Do not purchase an appliance at Best Buy. It’s not worth the aggravation.

Watch out when purchasing a TV,

I have never heard or used Philio. Calling up several times I am told they cannot refund the charges, it is a special group and first two time the phone drops. On 3rd attempt (plus e-mails), I finally get someone who basically says tough luck, whether I seen or used the product makes no difference. I did mentioned Best Buy geek squad agreed I did not sign p ever to use the service. He claims I did sign up for it as a recurring $20/moth charge. WHich is not the case; how is this legal?

Back to back poor customer service experiences

I spent thousands on new appliances with BB recently and needed a few simple changes made (price match, item substitutation). Both chats took upwards of an hour and one ended up being a total waste of time without resolving anything. The reps are either incompetent or and probably overworked. I really want to cancel the order and buy through RC Willey but I'm sure that will take several more hours of my time. Bestbuy, you're doing it wrong and it's sad because I've spent tens of thousands with you over the years. I will be shopping elsewhere in the future.

Worst customer service

No big deal they’ll make it right. Problem. All calls directed to a call center. No dialog with the store itself. I don’t mind driving in to replace it. Would have liked confirmation they have the model. I’ll get this taken care of but I’ll never be a Best Buy customer again.

So I did NOT get my scheduled service done, and still can't use all the new equipment that I purchased from Best Buy.

Phone service discusting..

I I called and made the appointment and they could not provide me with any information. The people that answer the phones know nothing. They are just there to answer the phones. How can they do business this way. I hope they go out of business they are disgusting.
