    As I have come to expect from the Geek Squad, agent Josh got my tv up and running again. Because of some issues with my WIFI provider, this took a lot of time and patience on his part. He did not leave until the problems(s) were solved, and he was extremely patient , not only with me, but with the WIFI personnel on the phone.

    Replaced our TV with a new model for $49.00

    In May, 2022, the Geek Squad came to our house and installed a new TV, antenna on the roof, and a DVD player, to our satisfaction. In January 2024, the TV would not display captions so we called the Geek Squad. They came out but could not repair it and began the process to replace the TV. The new tv was installed on 2/14/2024 and we're very happy.

    Geek squad installed sound bar to SONOS stereo.

    After trying diligently to fix a sound problem between my TV and sound bar, I finally called Geek Squad. The solution was not straightforward (at least for me) because several parameters needed to be set correctly in order to be compatible. The technicians (2) quickly resolved my problem and taught me a couple of new "tricks" as well. They were very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. I was very pleased with the service.

    Got wrong laptop charger

    I left my Lenovo Yoga 910 for repair because the charging port stopped working, in the end the device was not reparable, I guess it's too old and they couldn't find the parts for it, which is totally fine. I understand that part. The issues are: Problem 1: when I went to pick it up, the Geek Squad staff was going to hand just the laptop without its charger. If I hadn't "reminded" him to give back the charger he wouldn't have given it back to me. Problem 2: The charger I got back was NOT the charger that originally came with the laptop, but I only noticed it after I got back home. I got a bulkier charger. Why can't they keep the laptop and its charger together, they clearly labeled the laptop before shipping it for repair, but probably the charger was not labeled. I'm the one that has to keep track of that? No. Can't they put everything inside a box or something to make sure accessories don't go missing? I'm not going back to Best Buy so they can try to find the correct charger. Waste of time. PS: The correct charger should have been the one with the white background. (right side)
