Also frustrating that I didn’t realize there is only a two week return period. So here I am in front of Best Buy 17 days after buying the item, look at my online purchase info in the app before I go in, and see I only had 14 days to return the item. SMH I guess I need to re-evaluate shopping at Best Buy. Two weeks is not always a realistic return timeframe. Definitely won’t be buying any more gifts here. And, clearly they are challenged to sell quality items they can stand behind.

The laptop will die. I switched it to another, older inverter I had in the car and it powered just fine with the old one.

I bought this for a road trip because I still had to do work during my vacation. The first time I plugged it into my car's 12 volt port, it smelled like burning plastic and blew the fuse in my car. Replaced the fuse and tried to plug in a cell phone vs. my computer and nothing happened but burning up another fuse. And since I was on the trip for two weeks it's now not returnable to Best Buy. What a total piece of garbage. Do not waste your money. :-(

We rented a newer Nissan for the trip which had two liighter/plugs, one near the shifter and one inside the center console. On the second day of our drive the inverter stopped working and never worked again.
