It also seems to lack an initial boost of power which some a/c devices need (including many laptops), so it has a tendency to cut out at start up. But if it starts up, then it seems to continue running fine.

It's a little pricey, when it's typically more practical to get a charger or option that directly uses the plug, but when you need to charge something on a long car ride, it can definitely be helpful. A tad pricey, but options were limited.

The car power plug is too close to the counsel for the Kia Optima

Posted .Hello, Cyber Power has another power inverter available with the model number CPS175PSU that may work for you. The CPS175PSU uses a power cord that does not limit it to the space around the 12V receptacle. Thank you for sharing your review!
