Bought this the day before a road trip and it was a lifesaver. My wife and I charged our phones with the USB port, charged a laptop with the outlet (at the same time as charging a phone), charged the portable dvd player we had for the car ride and also kept tablets charged. We went on a 32 hour road trip (16 each way) with 3 younger kids and it proved to be well worth it. A little pricey, but I keep it in my car now and have already used it multiple times. Once you have it, you'll use it.

Easy to travel with used with laptop and kept cell phone charged

Unit works as promised but does run a little noisy. Let me clarify that, other inverters generally run louder, I just don't have them close to me in the front seating area and this one has a higher pitch. Also runs a little hot, but it is summer. Another side note is that if your car normally charges while shut off, this will not do that either out the USB port or the AC outlet

I went in looking for a wall plug/AC plug adapter for a portable DVD player. I had a small one that stopped working. The only one Best Buy had was $35-$40, has 2 USB ports, and 2 wall-plug slots, and probably a couple other attachment ports I forgot already. So more than I wanted/needed, but will probably be extremely handy. Just wish they had something smaller like I wanted.

Other adapters I’ve used in the past overheat and are extremely loud when plugged in. This keeps what I need charged when I’m in the car and I use it daily for 12 hours at work. Keeps anything from flashlights to cameras charged with no issues and USB port is a nice feature.

Went to Best Buy to get a charging cable for a DVD player to use in a vehicle. One of the salesmen asked if he could be of assistance and I am glad he did. I explained my dilemma and he suggested a couple of choices. One of the choices was this power supply. It worked out so well that it travels with me everywhere. Having a choice of an AC connection or USB makes it perfect for the different devices I take with me in trips. Thanks for the great help.

I use it to recharge my Jackery 250 portable battery that I use for camping. It will charge and power most things but keep in mind it has a limit.

If your in need of a conventional plug in your vehicle this may be the solution does work well. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is when fan runs it does make noise although not loud and I’m sure it generates heat and needs to be cooled.

As you shop for power inverters, consider how many watts are required to power your desired 'appliance'. Match or exceed this amount with the inverter's CONSTANT Output. For example, an air mattress for camping that requires 120W, THIS particular inverter's MAX output is 160W. However, it will put out a CONSTANT feed of only 100W. Therefore, it will not be sufficient for this air mattress electric pump. I only wish I had looked specifically at each inverter's CONSTANT output before going camping with this device, and then having to sleep on rocks and roots, learning this the 'hard' way. Hope this helps, and many may benefit from MY mistake. I accept 'fool' blame for selecting the wrong inverter for me.. but I will say the packaging is a bit misleading. Perhaps it should be sold as a 100W (min) inverter. Being my mistake, this device deserves a decent rating for what it will do. For instance, this product may be more than fine to power your laptop or other devices while riding in a vehicle. I just believe there are far more powerful inverters at the same price point; although they may not be as compact. All depends on what you need... But regardless, pay attention to the CONSTANT OUTPUT.
