Better than I expected!

I did not think that I would use the house main style plugs but the second day I had it a situation came up that I needed to charge a large Laptop & this unit handled it wonderfully.

Saved me some money

The adapter worked well and allowed us to watch movies when we wanted to on our trip to Texas. The only issue we had with it was that the kids kicked it and knocked it out one time. Other than that, it was smooth sailing. I was happy that I could by this for $30 dollars instead of a new portable DVD player for the car.
