Does what it's suppose to

It also makes a humming noise when something has been plugged in for a bit. The radio, at a normal volume, pretty much drowns it out though.

did not work for us

( a medical icing machine) should have work. The watts were more than compatible. To be fair, it could be a problem with the machine. but I would plug it in and it ran for about 5 seconds or so then quit. Then the plug wouldn't work at all. Don't know what the problem was, but the end result was we couldn't use it.
