It works great and I can recharge my hot spot besides my computer. It has saved me from taking time off from work.

Noisy charging device

Buyers should be aware it has an internal fan that cools it...the fan squeaks and took me a bit to find the new noise in my car. It is probably unwise to allow it to become buried in the back of you car while charging your devices.

Although the USB port worked fine, the outlet side never worked for anything. Tested it in multiple cars and with multiple chargers. I ordered a different inverter online and it worked instantly. I was hesitant before buying due to reading some of the negative reviews, and it looks like the same thing happened to me. Aside from the defective product, I also was not a fan of the pivoting joint on the inverter. It made it difficult to plug in because every time you would push, it would fold up. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a better product

power inverter review

It charges so quickly, so I have no problem with using my phone for directions, or just talking in the car. The best ever!!!
