Areogardens shuts down with brief power failures and require human intervention to restart. This backup has prevented a shutdowns, when I have been away from home keeping my plants from dying.

Easy set up. Haven't had a power outage yet but I ran a quick test and it worked as advertised. There are longer lasting solutions but this works for me at the price point.

I like this UPS. I install my new computer on it and others devices. For my internet modem and router I install it on the battery side and the computer on the side that does not have battery backup.

Great UPS device for the price and appears to be more energy efficient that other models use in the past. This UPS device does not appear to stay warm as older models, based on the circuit design.

I have 2 computers that I can't afford to shutdown. This unit provides power backup for both computers as well as my modem/router with no problems at all. For the price, you can't beat it!

Happy with purchase, super price, is working with no problems - which is what you want with a workhorse product, even if it isn't a "bright shiny object".

Performs as expected for a UPS. This one (the 450VA) is a no-frills version - no display, no AVR (which I do think is important depending on what is being protected), and no USB ports except for the one that connects back to the PC for monitoring. It's a good one to catch, especially if you can find it on sale.

We get brownouts every day. This helps protect equipment to avoid major problems. All my electronics have this or larger UPS units to protect it. A lot cheaper to buy these than replacing a TV
