I am using for backup power for my internet. When the power goes out for a brief period I maintain the internet till the power comes back on. I have a generator that kicks on. I do not lose my internet.

I bought this to keep my electronic safe, blu ray, tv. etc it was great price.

I have these for my television, cable box, DVR player for when electricity goes out and then comes back on with my generator. It stops the electric surge which I hear can damage the electronics. And it ops things running during that minute the generator gets going. With my parent now in need of certain equipment for care, I have one just for that. Keeps my mind at ease
