When we use the backup generator, the backup system keeps the receivers protected and from not having to reboot. Great when recording a favorite show.

I'm finishing up my Bachelor's degree in software engineering, but live in a rural area where the power tends to flicker at least once every time there's a storm. I hate having to constantly save when I'm on a roll programming and this has saved me a few times already. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because only 1 side runs on the battery back-up, but all of the ones I seen in this price range were like that.

Battery backups are working as described. I get at least 15 min. of power when main power is off.
