Worse than a paperweight

Could be a nice paperweight but cord makes it difficult to have a desk. Didn't work out of the box and Best Buy refuses to take it back and CyberPower's warranty service is a joke.

It's worthless get a bigger one

Every morning it's screaming in pain. Sad part is the computer was off. Hold the button and restart it and it works till the next day. 450VA should have been more than enough especially with the current on. Couldn't return it because of the pandemic so it's good for keeping a clock radio running . Like I said get a bigger one or get an APC.

Defective CyberPower Units

The other runs for 2 hours then turns off. Very disappointing as I had bought them when I travelled abroad in an area where we experienced constant blackouts and needed these to protect my electronics.

I needed a surge protector and battery back-up for an overseas trip. Straight out of the box the battery was dead, and the surge protector side died two days later. Buy at your own risk!

It shuts off several times a month with no warning, crashing my server. I just have 1 server, 1 computer, and 1 monitor attached. I haven't found any solutions online to keep it from shutting down. I'm now looking for another brand.

There are only several reason why we replace the product under warranty, and these practices are industry standards. They usually include big and powerful products being plugged into a small battery, and high voltage devices that the UPS is not designed to handle. No good battery pack

Posted .Thank you for your review! It’s completely normal for the battery in a new UPS to slowly discharge between the time it was manufactured and when it's purchased and put into use. Because of this, it's standard practice to charge the unit for up to 8 hours when you first receive it. Additionally, if the battery is completely depleted while running on backup power, it can take another 8 hours to fully recharge. This is typical for UPS units, regardless of the brand.
