I bought this because I had to move somewhere where the power goes out a lot. I’m a student and my professors like to do a live, webcam on, exams. If the power goes out and I’m disconnected the professors aren’t very understanding and have been know to either make you turn in what you have immediately, or fail. I couldn’t take any chances so I bought this battery back up to connect to my WiFi so that I don’t lose internet during class and so far it’s worked great! It’s saved me a few times already, definitely worth the peace of mind.

Good battery backup. Serves its purpose. Downside is only 4 of the 8 outlets are connected to the battery while the other 4 are surge protector only.

The item really helped out whwn we had a power outage.

Great back up battery and good price. Was very please with the product. No outages so can't test it yet but works great out of the box.

CyberPower 450VA battery back up works great. True surge protection for all outlets (4 +4). Surge protection + battery back up for half of the outlets (4). This is the third one of these we have bought (others for elderly family members).

Outstanding batter back up, my son told me about these and it's truly helped when the power has gone out.

Good value has a removable battery, so when its life is up, you can replace the battery. I use it as a power BackUp for my modem, Router and NAS.

Works well. Only using for wifi extender and fios ont box until generator kicks on. Did what it needs to do.

Small, but powerful. It powers two hard drives during blackouts and so far it holds them for at least twenty minutes.

Easy to use. Lasts long enough to shut down a home computer system if you are on site at the time. Not for business systems or if critical data is at risk.

I’m using the SE450G1 to power my Arris SBG10 WiFi router/modem combo, not as a UPS or surge protector. Fully charged it powered the router for 107 minutes (1hr 47min). Tried an experiment to see if I could squeeze more time out of the battery. I turn off the routers 5GHz band and set the 2.4GHz band to “Tx Power Level” Low. The router still worked fine and extended the life to 130 minutes (2hr 10min). Seems to do the job I bought it for well, we’ll see how long the battery hold up.

Great battery backup for those with multiple laptops, tablets, etc. 4 surge protection outlets. Has worked very well for me.

This unit is great to protect my pc, cable modem, and wireless router. If the power fails, the items mentioned stay on, which keeps them safe. This allows me to finish my work on the PC, and then I can safely shut it down. Also you can use it just for the modem and router's power adapters, which keeps your home network going eve if there is no electricity, such as during a storm. I highly recommend this product.

Have only had a couple power outages and it kept my internet up and running while working without issues

This is a definite improvement from my old APC UPS. It is much lighter and smaller in size which makes it easier to store under the desk. However, this is a "bare-bones" battery backup that will keep my computer running during short-term power outages. I didn't need anything fancy, and I didn't use some of the features from the old UPS. I researched the cost of a battery replacement and this system was only a few dollars more than a replacement battery for the old UPS. Purchasers may opt to get the SX650U or SX950U if the want more backup power. Also those units have UPS charging ports and connections to a PC for system monitoring. The lack of USB charging connection was the thing I was disappointed with on this unit.

Great device. Easy to install and use. Two sides, one for surge and the other for surge and battery back-up.
