Okay, I purchase my first version of this PC through the Best Buy website, and was SUPER exited when it arrived, only to have the system completely crash within the first week of owning it. I took it into my local Best Buy and they were very helpful in getting it returned, although I now had to wait three weeks for a replacement unit to be shipped. I figured why not, because anyone can get a lemon. It happens. So I finally get my 2nd PC, and the fan in the back makes this grinding sound every time I start it up. So I call CyberPC, and they send me a new fan. Hopefully this would be the end of my ordeal and I would now just have a good working machine.... Nope. So six months on, and the machine is running okay. I have a SUPER modded version of Skyrim running on it, not to mention a plethora of other games and everything seems to be okay. Wake up this last Saturday, and the machine will only boot to the MSI BIOS menu. Finally get to speak to CyberPC Tech Support today, because they aren't available on the weekend, and they say it "could" be that my SSD drive failed. So I switch the cables between my drives, but still get the same result. BIOS Screen, and nothing else. So they say they'll send me a new Hard Drive, only after I pay to have the bad one shipped back to them first. Seeing as I'm not totally convinced that it even is the Hard Drive, I'm not that eager to ship that back and wait the two weeks it will take for them to get that drive and ship me a new one, only to find that didn't even solve my problem. I take it into my local Best Buy again to have the Geek Squad look at it, and they even said they couldn't figure out exactly what was wrong. They even had it boot from a CD, and it still went back to the BIOS screen. Best Buy took mercy on me and allowed me to return this hunk of junk for a full refund, so they're the real heroes here. Yes, some people seem to be having luck with this system, but it's be a total pain for me, and I'm hoping this review makes someone think twice before dropping their cash on it. I wouldn't recommend CyberPC to my worst enemy.

Buying a computer shouldn't be so hard

So I first bought this computer a month ago, and was really excited for it as I had no doubts about its power. It came with everything I needed to get started - however, it wouldn't send any signal to the monitor, and geek squad told me it had a faulty motherboard. Blower, but not a big deal since I could just get a replacement. Replacement comes, but it didn't come with an HDMI cable; in fact, when I talked to Best Buy, they told me I wasn't supposed to get an HDMI cable in the first place. What?? So I'm supposed to get a mouse, keyboard, power cable, but no HDMI cable?? Now I'm pretty annoyed, but it's ok because I had an extra HDMI cable. However, I just plugged everything in, and guess what? NOTHING SHOWS UP ON THE MONITOR.

    Totally Disappointed

I have purchased many PCs and Laptops from Best Buy without any issues, but I am returning this one first thing tomorrow. First, Windows will not activate. According to the error code there is a different product key tied to the mother board. Second, there is something seriously wrong with this machine. It is hitting 100% disk activity and maxing out the cpu when trying to open the "Settings" dialog with no programs running right after a reboot. This is a brand new machine and the only things installed on it are McAfee and World of Warcraft which hasn't even been played. Even the metal plate covering the accessories ports is cheap and poor quality. This is a total lemon. I am going back to HP or Asus.

First unit was DOA, would not power on. Replacement had faulty network adapter. Good customer support from both CyberPowerPC and Best Buy.
