Great computer for the money, small flaw
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Works right out of the box, no issues with dead hardware. Tested all ports, works great. SSD makes the bootup time to Windows 10 much faster than using HDD. Windows 10 activated without any issue. The black and orange color theme is attractive. I usually home-build my rigs, but this was for a friend who didn't want to wait, and it fit his needs. Cons: CyberPower ships this PC with a spray-foam insert to protect the motherboard and GPU. Only problem is, whomever packed mine at the warehouse was too agressive with the spray foam and ended up clogging the front fan filter. See the attached images. I've put in a request with CyberPower to replace just the damaged screen, hopefully they respond to my support ticket soon and mail out a new one. If they handle this properly, I'm inclined to give this a 5 start review. Mistakes happen, but hopefully they are quick to correct them.

Great gaming desktop for a beginner
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.MSI Z170A motherboard, EVGA Geforce gtx 1070, SanDisk SD8SBBU-240G-1122 (SSD 240G), TOSHIBA DT01ACA300 (HDD 3T) It works greatly EXCEPT getting some errors from Windows at the very first booting and during user setting. (I found the solution for it from http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_install/windows-could-not-complete-the-installation-to/bf09c3c5-298b-459f-aed5-4f431b8398f5?page=2) Occasionally I've got an booting error but after resetting Windows, it works good so far. You need to have an ethernet cable because this model doesn't have wifi module and, of course, for better gaming environment I would recommend you to have one.

My first PC!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I've switched from Mac to PC, and tried to figure out which would be the best computer to buy. I wanted good gaming power, plus VR capability. Prices to order one built for me with what I thought I needed were very high, and then I discovered CyberPowerPC's on bestbuy.com. The price was about half of what I had seen, and the hardware was equal or better, except the computer was lacking a DVD drive, blue tooth, and wifi. I think I need Bluetooth to print to my printer in another area of the house. I also think, but am not sure, if I need Bluetooth to run VR. The keyboard is not the best, but I'm satisfied with it, as I am with the mouse. I had some trouble registering, as the serial number on the carton was different than the serial number on the actual computer (the last 2 numbers). Aside from these things, I am very happy that this is my first PC! I did receive a disk with Windows 10 on it, which is nice, but I had to buy an external DVD drive, as apparently it won't fit inside the case. My only negatives are that I would have preferred it contained an internal DVD drive and also Bluetooth, for which I would have been happy to pay a bit more. Everything arrived in working order and was easy to setup. I would certainly buy another CyberPowerPC computer if and when I need one.

A Tad Pricey, but Worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After losing my original gaming PC to a burnt out motherboard that fried almost everything in the case and after deciding that a) I wanted a major rig upgrade and b) I have no interest in building my own computer I began the hunt. After comparing various builds and pricing the components, this particular machine had what I found to be one of the the best price tags for what was used to build it. Still, this was an expensive purchase but one I feel was worth it. Two problems however: 1) The computer I received does not like Ethernet cables (or at least my Ethernet cable). It will eventually connect to the internet with one but only after unplugging and plugging the cable back in several times. Thankfully I already had a wifi doggle and am able to easy connect to the internet using that. Will try out another cable when I have the time. 2) The mouse include is painful to use thanks to the little gray ridges that protrude right above the the wheel. Also, the keyboard is uncomfortable and the combined light from the two is distracting. Ultimately switched to using a simple wireless keyboard and mouse I already owned.

Great PC for people just getting into 4k gaming.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the first computer that ive bought already built. I just couldn't get the parts for the price of this deal. This PC is ready right out of the box. No junk downloaded on the OS. 1070 is 4k friendly with most games. Lighting fast load times with the i7 and 32gig of RAM.

Serious machine for playing brand new games.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great tower for gaming and video or photo editing. It costs significantly less than Alienware, but achieves much of the same thing. It came with a gaming keyboard and mouse which I haven't used, so I can't really speak to their quality. It requires ethernet (rather than a wireless setup) which means it runs smoother but requires some thought in regards to cables when setting it up. It came with Windows 10, which does not work well with Steam AT ALL, so if you want to play anything more than a year old you should still hold on to your old rig. For newer games, this is a great product.

Good computer for price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to order three computers before I got one that worked but it was worth the wait. Problems with the internal hard drive on the first one and not sure what the problem was with the other. Good price for a gaming computer.

Fantastic Computer.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This CyberPower PC desktop has been fantastic for the past few weeks I have been using it for. Mine came with a custom cooled 1070 and a liquid cooled 6700K. One thing I have noticed is how the GPU, or graphic cards, may be different models all in all. You may get a reference model or a custom one. This is sadly however not stated within the descrption. However, temperatures are running very low when under full load (30C) and extremely lower when in idlle (less that 10C) for the GPU whereas the CPU tops out a 30C on all cores. I would however, appreciate air cooling simply given the fact that liquid cooling systems are prone to leakage which may tarnish other components. However when you get a gaming computer, you want good performance, preferabbly more than the PS4 or XONE, and this delivers! Some of the most high end games are maxed out with all the visual goodies added in, and I maintain a solid 60 FPS in them. Games such as the Witcher 3, infamous Crysis 3, and newer games such as Watch Dogs 2 among others will be no problems for these systems delivering smooth, sliky experiences. One of the most major gripes I have however, is the power supply. It comes from a OEM brand called Xtreme Gear, which are prone to crash entire systems if you overclock among other things. These come with all iBuyPower and CyberPowerPC SKUs. If you want to upgrade the system, I would get a more reliable power supply. Aesthetics wise, it's not my favorite. The S340 is a beautiful case, but you get an orange finish within the inside, which breaks the neutral look. Same with peripherals, although those provide great feedback. All in all, this computer is fantastic. It makes the punch for an incredibly good price, and has some great performance to boot. A few flawed manufacturing should be fixed, and if that is the case, I would, without a doubt, recommend this computer. However in it's current state, its still awesome.

Great computer, killer price, terrible keyboard
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I spent all summer planning to build my own computer. I wasn't able to get all the money together until after school had started, so I decided to look at the pre-built PC's. It turned out this computer cost less, has better specs, and was completely ready to go out of the box. Some things I wish I had known before buying... First off--the computer doesn't look quite like I expected from the picture. They do describe it as black and orange, but the picture looks much more red. So here's the color breakdown. The fan on the liquid cooler has red LED's for some reason, while the PSU cover and support arm going up the back of the case are painted UT VOLS orange. It's...not a great color choice in my opinion, and I want to replace the fan to lose the red LED's and repaint the orange as soon as possible. Second, despite the port listings, the graphics card included with the computer has 4 ports--1 HDMI port that is set up as the only one without a plug in it out of the box, and 3 displayports. I wanted to set this up with my TV (only HDMI) and 3 Dell s2415h monitors that only offer VGA and HDMI--so this knowledge was important to me. There are other ports built into the motherboard's IO, but from what I've read the best performance is expected out of the video card ports, and the instructions included with the PC indicated the same. I had to buy three displayport to HDMI connectors (Amazon, $10) to connect the monitors and used the HDMI port to connect the TV. So far so good, but only one monitor and the tv are hooked up now. Third, while a lot of people on here have mentioned the lack of built in Bluetooth and Wi-fi, I wasn't aware that at least the Bluetooth issue can be resolved for around $10 by buying a Bluetooth adapter. It's a very small USB stick that works as an adapter to just about any other Bluetooth device. I have one on the way so I can use a keyboard from the couch. Lastly, this keyboard is an absolute joke. I wasn't expecting anything remotely fancy, but I did expect it to work. This review is being written on it now while a new mechanical keyboard makes its way through the delivery process. Writing this has taken twice as long as it should have because about 1/2 the keys don't work with the left shift and about 1/3 don't work correctly with either shift. On top of that, the keyboard and I have what feels like a fight every couple of hours when it decides to turn down the volume all the way even as I jam the controls trying to turn it back up either with the keyboard key or on-screen slider. It just did it again at the end of that sentence as if out of spite. It's not worth the trouble of shipping it back to them, but it is upsetting to spend this much on a computer that can't master tasks as complex as word processing. The mouse is pretty nice though, despite no included drivers that I've found to control all of the buttons. I did download another program that allowed me to program two of the side buttons, but not the rest. Overall, this is a great gaming computer for the price that is limited most by its aesthetics and accessories. If you're on the edge, buy it. I'm happy I did. In the interest of full disclosure, there was a slip in the box offering a gaming headset in exchange for posting a review. All of the above opinions are my own, but I don't think it would be right to offer them to you for help without disclosing that I'm getting something out of it as well. I would've posted the same thing either way.

great machine
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1. well my machine arrived with the MSI armor 1070 and a MSI mother board....I was excited to see I could use 2 GPU cards ..but then disappointed to find out its only support the AMD Crossfire not a big issue because I didn't expect a SLI board to begin with . 2 the other surprise was there are no bays to add a DVD .. It may have been mentioned but I wasn't aware the case didn't expect none at all ...again not a big deal I had no immediate plans to add one. 3. last thing and really the only one that concerns me ..I downloaded the MSI gaming app..it wouldn't install a quick search said theres a known issue with the error I was getting with NVidia cards and AMD hardware ...thing is It has the 6700k not an AMD...but the board is AMD oriented ..with the crossfire compatibility..I hope this isn't a problem that runs deeper and may cause performance issues.it doesn't seem to be 4..mouse and keyboard are beyond cheap ..mouse wheel is DOA right out of the box. NOW that all sounds kind of negative ...but I expected a single GPU mother board, I expected to have no DVD, and I knew the keyboard and mouse would be junk and I'm a very picky person. now the good and what really matters The hardware is solid its a nice looking machine ..better than I expected with it being orange/black and it seems to be blazing fast before any tinkering. . super quite and packed well . and flight sticks my orbweaver and Rat 7 mouse all installed without an issue. if the mouse had not been DOA ..I would have give it 5 stars

Perfect Except, Windows Key
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The pc was delivered in around a week. the card board box looked a little smashed but the protection of the pc was great and nothing was damaged on the pc. the keyboard and mouse are great the pc can turn on by you pressing the mouse. the mouse also comes with weights for your ideal weight. the keyboard comes with eight unique binds for sound fast forward stop start ect. the only problem was the windows 10 product key on the side of the pc was ripped so i couldn't activate windows. after talking to cyber power they said we would have to ship the sticker back but we ended up going to best buy because we have a warranty and got them to get windows working and it turned out they had the wrong windows product key on there so they ended up getting us a completely new windows 10 product key for free. One other thing to keep in mind is that this computer doesn't come with wireless capabilities. but what I've done is got usb wifi adapter and it works and fully connects to the router. This computer is a HUGE bang for its buck you can't save much money buy building this yourself.

Great mid-tower for gaming
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I received this tower I was amazed on how this tower looked. It runs really smooth and it is very quite for having dual fans. The graphics are amazing on games such as World of Warcraft. I have the graphics on 10 and ultra and runs smoothly.
