    Works okay with Alexa. Not so much with the App. Doesn’t turn on as programmed in the app. Have to use Alexa to turn on. It does turn off as programmed.

    It’s good led bulb but many a times it loses it’s connection with wifi. And the app needs improvement with connectivity too. If you want something that works without nay issues I would use phillips hue products instead

    the app is very easy to use and good to setup, however the one in my living room doesnt want to connect. The other three bulbs work great though.

    They are nice and I only had a small issues when paring them to the app but they work great. I wish they were a tad bit brighter, but for the price they are worth.

    They look beautiful and change well, however they seem to have some issues disconnecting from my google nest some times. I have had to do their factory reset about 3 times. Otherwise they work well.

    Great set of lights with easy installation. They are better than the previous Bluetooth versions i purchased. I am using them with Alexa App which makes changing colors and brightness easy. Purchased on sale on a Deal of the Day at an excellent price.

    Love these Smart Bulbs. Working great and NO HUB like you have to use with Phillips Hue. They are also half the price of the Hue bulbs. Colors are bright and the white is very bright too. I don't know how long they will last compared to the more expensive bulbs but for half the price I highly recommend giving them a try.

    Cool bulbs, color options are very nice. Only issue is getting them connected to WiFi. You have to be very close to your router in order for bulbs to pickup connection.

    Super easy setup, colors are vibrant and the app is user friendly. I've only used sengled bulbs for yrs since I already had the hubs and everything setup. These bulbs were a easy swap though, they connected right away without hubs or extra steps besides twisting in the light bulb.

    I was really excited to try these because I love the price! However, the first box I purchased really made me want to return them and pay more for the Philips Hue. The app wouldn’t connect to the bulbs and after a lot of time and research, I found a link buried on their website of how to update the older version of the bulbs. I had first tried to update them via the current instructions but they still didn’t work. Once they were finally updated, they worked well but it was a headache for sure. I want to add that only 1 box of 3 needed the older version update. The other 2 boxes worked fine from the beginning.

    This has been great so far! It had a simple set up and a large range of color options. Its given me a lit of control! Being light sensitive changing the color to something less abrasive is great!

    Super easy to set up with my Google Home, and the 42 color choices are beautiful. I’ve used 4 different brands of smart bulbs, but I keep coming back to these because they are the most reliable and have the best color.

    I needed a few more smart bulbs when we moved into a new apartment last year but I didn't want to spend the money to get more Hue bulbs. I use Sonos speakers with Google Assistant to control my lights and I have a Google Nest speaker. When I found out I could use the Google Nest as a hub for the GE bulbs, I was sold. They were initially easy to set up and while they didn't have quite the range of color that Hue does, they were surprisingly bright. Within a few days though, the trouble began. These bulbs disconnect all the time from the Nest which requires a reboot of the system to get back online. It happens multiple times a week. Ridiculously enough, there are two ways to set these bulbs up: Through Google Home or through the C by GE app. The former requires a Google smart speaker, but is the only way to control them by voice. The ladder allows for better control, but will not allow for voice control. Either way, these connect via Bluetooth instead of WiFi, another terrible mistake. The second one of them falls our of range of the others, the entire system gets out of wack. Many of these non-Hue smart bulbs try to market themselves on the fact that there is no hub required, but the lack of hub has made these a nightmare to deal with. I will be replacing them with Hue as soon as possible.

      We're sorry to hear you had these issues with your Direct Connect smart lights. Definitely not the experience we want you to have. You are correct in saying there are two different ways to connect the lights, one with Google Home directly and one with the C by GE app. Since these devices are Direct Connect, you can connect them in the C by GE app and will still be able to use Google Assistant to control your lights. Simply use the Works with Google set up in the Google Home app and then link the C by GE account there. Once the two apps are linked, they should appear in your list of devices within a few minutes.     A Fine Product! It didn't seem to want to work with Google Home very well (it could be my network or GH settings... I didn't check too deep). SO: I downloaded the Cync App and it works flawlessly, save minor network hiccups, which are just part of life! I would buy this again.
