    I used it in my lamp that I labeled lamp 4. More often that not, Alexa tells me 'lamp 4 is not responding'. Do not waste your time with this bulb, find another one that is Alexa compatible

      Hello Jerry, we are sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue controlling your Direct Connect bulb with Alexa. If Alexa is stating that one of your devices is 'not responding', your bulb may no longer be connected to the internet. You can reconnect this device in the Cync App by going to Settings > Rooms and Devices > ‘Room’ > View Devices > Edit This Light > Wi-Fi and select your network.     Bulbs work great but the App is not user friendly. The routines to set on and off don’t work consistentIy. I will be returning to the store.

    They work great! If you’re looking for dark rooms

    Hours spent on setup and my house is still dark.. Can’t get any of 4 bulbs to connect to the app, or my Google Home and I have searched the internet to find zero solution besides to return them.

      We are sorry to hear your Direct Connect Light Bulbs are not connecting. If your lights are not able to pair to the app we recommend factory resetting it using these steps: Start with light off for at least 5 seconds. Turn on for 8 seconds. Turn off for 2 seconds. Repeat this process 5 more times, or until the light flashes. If the issue persists please contact us at 1-844-302-2943. -Cync Support Team

    Poor connectivity with Alexa

    Not compatible with Alexa. Lost connectivity with Alexa within a couple hours, and there was no way to connect back to the app or the Alexa app. Saw other reviews that were talking about the same issue also.

      Hey Moses, our Direct Connect lights are compatible with Alexa, but have to be setup and functioning in the C by GE app first. If you have them setup and able to control them in our app then go under skills and games in Alexa and disable the C by GE skill and re-enable it.     The app gets stuck on the loading screen more times than not rendering me stuck staring at my phone screen closing and reopening the app numerous times just to switch a light off.

    They just don’t work. Spent many hours trying. Used their customer service. They were nice but couldn’t solve my problems. Great idea. Plan to try a different brand.

    Not great. One lightbulb never synced up. Tried for several hours. Returned and got the Phillips hue bulbs. They might cost more but at least they worked.

    Huge waist of time.

    One bulb would not pair with app. I tried everything and even did a factory reset huge waist of time. I returned this product. The one that did work was pretty cool however.

    I bought these lights thinking they would be easy to connect,but it was it was very difficult to connect and the light would automatically come on by themselves

      We regret any issues you experienced with connectivity to our bulbs. A few things that might help are to power off the speaker or device that you are using to control your bulbs. If you are on an android device try clearing the app cache in settings followed by a restart. The direct connect lights require a 2.4ghz wifi network to connect and will not connect to 5g networks.     A Basic Light for Quadruple the Price

    Literally stopped working 3 days out of the return policy. No longer is detectable by the Google Home nor the C by GE apps and is stuck on the last colour I chose.

      Hi Zach, sorry you experienced this issue with your direct connect bulbs. It sounds like a bulb reset would help get these up and running. You can do this by first starting with the light turned off, then turn on for 8 seconds and then 2 seconds turned off. Repeat these steps 5 times or until the light starts blinking.     Half the time these lights just randomly stop working with Google Home and you have to reset them -- manually -- every two weeks. Do not buy.

    I could not get the light to pair. I tried every thing. The app is a little complicated also. I am sure when it works its probably a good product just not for me.

    The app is horrible, literally had a difficult time getting the lights to connect to my phone. The app also constantly crashes. The lights don’t look good either

    Terrible! The app reliably is sporadic and the bulbs are very temperamental! I would not purchase these again.

    Awful product. I bought two packs: two of them would never sync. After a couple of weeks, the bulbs would not come on at all. Stick with hue.
