We purchased this cam to be able to monitor our new puppy when left alone, so far so good, works great remotely, only occasionaly are we not able to connect using the remote app, which could be due to internet strength. Simply exiting the app and returning solves that problem. We have the cam connected via the ethernet cable, cannot vouch for how well it stays online via a wifi connection. Also, I love the email reminders if a burst noise is detected, which alerts us that our puppy is barking. Great for the price, app is easy to use and image is clear enough for what we need it for.

The camera works every bit as well as you'd expect at this price point. The software (for viewing and configuration) is barely sufficient though. I can see now why the simpler to configure and use cameras cost twice as much. Don't try to use it with a Chrome O/S device, it requires Java (bad idea). The iOS app functions, though it always defaults to remote for some reason. So, good enough optics, decent night vision, decent construction, not so great interface.

Needed a camera to keep an eye on the house, for $50 it's a great little camera and has excellent night vision, easy setup and quality picture.

I likes these cameras. Good picture, good night vision, great software, but could not record to computer. Needed additional equipment to do so. Returned only due to no recording.

Good quality camera for the price. Installation was not difficult; just follow the instructions. Resolution is low and sound is poor, however. Low light view is good. I'm using it to watch new dog in room. The app. is easy to use.

If you want a very simple wireless camera with a good, sharp view, I would recommend this. Easy to set up and connects quickly over 4G networks as well as WIFI. Software does lack sending photo for motion detection but does send notifications for noise and motion in which you can adjust sensitivity. I had a Pyle PipCam 8 and threw that away as it kept dropping a strong WIFI signal. This a great cam to watch a pet, hear your baby, or monitor a room. It has no speaker so you wont be able to talk to anyone, just listen

The hardware is great, setup is fast. All you have to do is connect to your router, a few simple steps from the instructions. You'll be up and running in no time. The default setting for sound is very touchy, you will have to install the Dlink java application after you log into my.dlink to make adjustments. I do experience some disconnection from time to time, but I was able to get back into the live feeds in a few minutes. App from Dlink for iPhone is quick and simple. I thought the price was a bit high for the function, or lack thereof.

Video doesn't show color except under bright lighting conditions. I use it as a close up on my salt water aquarium and under the bright aquarium lighting the colors are very vivid and clear even through the glass and water.

I can keep an eye on my home when I am away. I set it up so that it works without a D-link account. I just log in the camera over the internet. Motion/sound detection work fine. Emails photos and movies. You may have to play with the sensitivities though, otherwise it sent you too many emails. You can do this remotely. Your email provider must allow no-SSL sendmail, so sending via yahoo mail or gmail will not work. In that case you may need to create a link account.

I Purchased this as an open item, the pic quality is ok, not great, but does do the job intended. I now have two.

For the price the camera does what it needs to do ... Little hard to setup in the beginning but Customer service knocked it out with in minutes

I used this camera to watch my new puppy while at work. Set up was easy and I can access from my phone with no issues. Doesn't have a ton of function but it's good for the price and does the job.

Has slight delays (unless that’s my internet connection)..but otherwise, clear picture and sound during day and night. We use it as baby monitor and as a security camera.

This seems to be a great little camera. It has great night vision and is fairly easy to set up.

I think they overcomplicated the instructions for setup. It works best just to hook it up to your router (if WPS doesn't work) and find the IP address. You can change the info for wireless in the web interface. Since having it setup, it has gone offline a couple times but came backup fairly quickly. I think for the price it works pretty well. I wish I had gone with a higher resolution camera which was an option with a different model but I chose this one. For basic use, it works fine.

I have several of these already and am happy with them. They are easy to setup. But if you want to tweak the settings, then you will need to be more computer savvy. Best thing of course is that you can view the camera remotely and just about any device. Great for watching the babysitter and kids and overall safety and condition of my house.

Easy to set up and install. Good bang for price. Bought to use as a nanny cam. Con power cable too short to reach wall outlet when mounting high on wall. Every time power goes out have to reset camera. App on iPhone, makes it easy check on child to give a good piece of mind.

It's a good deal if you're looking for something low cost , all do you have to purchase the app and setup is not that simple , bottom line those what is intended for

I bought this camera to keep an eye on my little dog while I am away. It works great both in the daytime and in dim light at night. The resolution is not as crisp as I would like, but for the low cost of the camera, I cannot complain. However, I did have to work with D-Link technical support folks for 45-minutes to get the camera working. So, it is not an easy plug-and-play set-up as they advertise.

Simple camera to use - have a few in my home. Cheaper than an outside alarm system.
