    Bought this camera to replace an older Linksys camera that recently died. Fairly easy setup (beware of personal firewall) once the camera was discovered. Kind of nice that a Dynamic DNS account was not required like my old Linksys camera. Good bang for the buck for a basic camera.

    I set up the four cameras this morning and an hour later could no longer get feeds from them on my computer and iPhone. Dlink support was very responsive and patient, and the support person I worked with painstakingly set them up again, and got them up and running. My case number was C6701399 and the support person's badge ID AR004281. So far I am really happy with the cameras and love having the ability to see what is happening in the rooms where I put them. They seem to be a good value for the money.

    Good Camera For Basic Viewing

    I wanted a redundant system to back up my primary alarm system, and found this to be a solid cost-effective secondary safety net. I will say that it was difficult to set up wirelessly out of the box, but D-Link's tech support was readily available, and had me up and running within about 15 minutes. One other note of caution: viewing is great over the cloud (from, say, your desktop), but is medicare at best over the smart phone app. Still, for the price, it gets the job done.

    I have used these cameras for over a year and have nothing negative to say about them. The features to send alerts from the DLink cloud are great! Be careful when doing firmware upgrades though, or you could potentially leave it inoperable if the update fails while being installed from powering it down or losing internet signal during the upgrade.

    D-link camera plus EXCELLENT dlink support

    Tried for hours to connect my dcs-933L camera to my wifi network (using a cellular hotspot to connect to the internet) but couldn't connect the camera without a land line cable. I called dlink and Francesca (badge #AR004277) was fantastic. She patiently walked me through the whole process successfully. I plan to buy more cameras in the near future.

    AR004201 Tech support really made a difference to help mework through my issues of connecting. To be able to work out the remote problem we had to check the connection on a computer. My computer is ancient so I appreciated the patience I received. I appreciate the tech support at no cost, only provided when purchased from Best Buy.

    I am a senior and not as tech savey as most but i get by. I had no problem setting this up and using it ...very pleased , we will be purchasing more for differant areas in our home ...

    Camera was easy to setup. Not sure what other people did that they had difficulties setting it up. Just have to call tech support for email notification. Support was great and was easy to understand. Got my issue fix very quick. C6782256

    First I have to wonder why so many had to run to tech support? These cameras were a quick replacement for the Lorex LNC 104. Those cameras allowed camera view adjustments, two way communication and had a great picture (albeit they were HD). This camera runs very hot I have noticed. Night picture is fuzzy and distance isn't great. As a replacement so I can feel comfortable when leaving for vacation they will do. Not the easiest to set up...They kept going off line and I had to reinstall twice. I also miss two way conversation capabilities. Again, for the price they are OK.

    Ar004211 the best it could be. Very impressed The camera seems good. I really haven't had it long enough to make a good judgement. But the Tech Support was fabulous.

    I have been thinking about getting a video baby monitor and was at Best Buy today. I was looking at a product that was about twice the price and the sales man said he had the more expensive one and this one and this one was much better. He did say it could be tricky to set up, but he knows my husband and said it would be easy for him. My husband says it is one of the easiest things he has ever set up. Now I'm watching my son sleep in a pitch black bedroom and I can see him clear as day.

    Had a little trouble getting the router to recognize the camera and needed to call tech support at d-link. Immediately put through to a real person who I could understand, very helpful and professional. CN:C6814621

    Bought the camera 9 mos ago and I've called twice. The first time I called was when I bought the camera and the second time was when I obtained a new ISP and needed assistance re-setting it up. Both times--on a weekend and after 5p--the customer support was great and the camera works. This past time, the customer rep was AR--004648, Rossville. I would definitely recommend this product.

    The camera is a fine product for its price point. However, two problematic issues (IMO) are (1) the camera comes with a very short power cord [remedied by purchasing an extension DC power cord - varying lengths are available online] and (2) horizontal viewing covers only a 45 degree area. The narrow field of view shouldn't be a problem if you're interested in monitoring a single door or window but this camera will not suffice if you're thinking to mount it in a corner and obtain full room coverage. For that purpose, you would need at least two of these cameras which then approaches the cost of a single camera that has rotate/tilt functionality.

    Inconsistent, with difficult setup

    While the D-Link NVR that works with this camera is junk, this camera is pretty decent when it works. My issue was that setup was complicated with the express route, the camera dropped connectivity on its own (without really every rejoining -- which required a manual power on/off), and the my-dlink app is inconsistent. At the end of the day, modern apps and devices need to work better. This is an early 90's era performer in 2015.
