However, after 2 calls to DLink (hold time for each call was less than 90 seconds!) Agent #AR004211 Walked me through the setup and she got me up and running in no time. She was most knowledgeable and helpful and above all - patient. Thanks for offering the special service for DLink via Best Buy,

Not bad Camera for Home use!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It was long conversation with the Agent that I really loved to deal with, he was so smart to hold my issue with the Camera which is I have had issue with, but finally he fixed it for me and I m so happy to get him. His name is Marvin and his badge number is AR004612. I would recommend any one who has major issues with D-Links Camera to ask about him, before I spoke to Marvin, I had another conversation with other agent but not was smart enough to solve my issue! Thanks a lot Marvin!

I was able to get online help from (Badge #AR004201 Represenitive Ms.Aiko was extremely professional and courteous. All technical questions and difficulties were resolved. Good Innexpensive Camera

Pros: Night and Day functionality are decent and work as expected. Camera works fine once setup Cons: Setup was not easy I had to reset the device multiple times. App takes FOREVER to find local cameras and you can't save the found cameras in there. App in general is a bit cludgy

She was very patient and polite when showing me the steps even after being on the phone with me for 2 hours. I can't thank you enough. I'm sure I'll be please with this device. Great tool to monitor Baby

It works much better in short distance. I monitor my Baby with this camera. Day time camera picks up the colors, however, not so good. Night time vision is MUCH better. Price is a bit expensive, but not too bad considering how well this camera works.

Greg (ID ar-004215) was very capable, friendly; worked thru a number of (for me) difficult set issues for firm ware updates and advanced settings on camera. A great buy for my needs

Great basic camera

My wife was always forgetting if she closed the garage door after leaving the house. Easy to setup & install. We have a dynamic IP, but use DirectUpdate on my webserver at home to keep this constantly updated so I never have to worry about connecting problems because my IP changed. I am using MyDLink to view from my laptop/phone, no issues with the Android app at all, works as advertised! Something to note, I did have a few issues with the auto switching of day/night mode, so I went in to the camera's config (using the IP of camera) and hard-coded the Day Mode Schedule from 6am-6pm everyday.

The app has been reliable and consistent thus far. My only two minor complaints are that there is a 3-5 second delay for movement to be seen and the sound transmission is relatively poor.

Great technical support

With the expert help of Aiko (ID# AR004201) at Tech Support, I now get email notifications with video clips. She patiently walked me through all the steps and set me up. Great Job and a pleasure to work with.

Discovered that firmware needed updating.

An email response led to my calling Rachel AR004672 who patiently helped me upgrade the firmware in the camera from v 1.04 to 1.07. Now the camera video is observable via wifi or 3G. This camera is very affordable.
