I've had this camera for about two years and while I've been able to duct tape & rubber band my way through everything to get this the way I need it, I thought I should share my experiences to save others the headaches I've endured throughout. This camera is NOT plug and play ready. It's going to take considerable work on your part to get it running. The web interface is about as bad as I've ever seen. Does not support Windows 10 Edge, and if you use Chrome, you'll need to download plug-ins that are security risks. I'm shopping for another camera, and DLink isn't an option. Too much trouble and NOT user friendly.

I had modest expectations given the other reviews of this product, but my needs were simple and I just wanted the basics. I consider myself better than average on figuring out how to configure network devices, and this one defeated me. Very poor instructions. Would not connect via WPS, had to use my ethernet cable. That still took over an hour and multiple resets to get it hooked up. The mydlink apps are really quite terrible. It goes back tomorrow. With this you get LESS than what you pay for.

bought this for my mom for a mothers's day present. Nice little camera when it is on sale. She just wanted something that she could use to keep an eye on the dog when she is not home. This does it pretty well. some of the downfalls of this camera are: no sd card slot, so it does not record events resolution is low many of the features in the mydlink app are not supported by this camera the camera can record to a dlink router and is pretty good as an addon to the dlink network of devices, however as an all in one solution, it falls a bit short.

Decent basic camera. The best part of this camera is the support Dlink provides. I called and spoke with Rouchel, agent number 4211. I had 2 cameras to install, and she was someone that you want to speak with, as she was well trained and knew exactly what I needed to do. Very friendly, courteous, and professional. Just the person I would want representing any company of mine. Great job.

This camera was a good cheap entry into home security cameras. BUT. The use of it is very spotty due to constant remote server issues. When trying to use the remote "mydlink" app and web version often the server is down. And the issue is not just by camera. I have two different versions of D-link cameras and they both have remote server issues. If I can't view the camera when not at home then this camera is useless. The customer service is not helpful at all. If they do respond to questions it is just to ask what model is being used and to reboot my router. The issue is not at the home end but with the mydlink server end.

The camera is good, especially the night function. The problem is, the "cloud" service that comes with it is not supported on this particular model, which defeats the point. With out the cloud service there is no way to record or playback video, all you have is a live feed. And I tried the mobile apps too, they did not work. Will be returning.
