This is a very inexpensive camera and the quality is great. Easy hookup to your wifi and that's it. You can monitor your house from anywhere in the world with a smartphone and an Internet connection!

Have recommended to friends. It was easy to set up and operate. Picture is clear.

Have to have it hooked up to my router to work, but it was easy to set up and the pictures are good. I would recommend.

We just got a new puppy and I wanted to keep an eye on him when we left the house, and he was in his cage. Camera works great in both low and regular lighting conditions. Set up was fast and very easy. I plan on getting another DLink camera that can rotate and pan for the rest of the house/front door. Very impressed with the picture and overall quality of the unit.

This is my second D-link camera, it is so much easy to use than another brand I have because I do not need to update every two days in order to check my house.

For the price and ease of set up this camera has been a pleasure so far. HD ready the clarity is as good as the professional model cameras at my work.

Easy to setup and easy access from iphone or any other device. Definition is not the best but it does the work.

Overall this camera works as you would expect and provides a decent video in regular and low light. My only complaint is that it takes a long time for changes to motion and sound based detection notification settings to take effect after updating them either through the smartphone or Web application. It's also worth noting that there are many more settings that can be updated using the Web application instead of the smartphone.

It needs to be plugged into a router. Best buy staff said that there's a way around it but it never worked with my uverse account.

This camera works great and is easy to set up. It is a little sensitive to shadow movement.

Its a great product. Easy to setup. myDlink app works great and can be viewed from anywhere using your smartphone. Had some troubles setting it up, but after it was setup, everything works just fine. I do wish there was a pan / tilt function Sometimes the connection to the camera does not connect and it will need to reconnect a few times before.

I picked up a few of these to do some monitoring around my home. They were quick to setup and work rather well with my WD Mybooklive.

Nice camera for baby monitoring, it allows to take pics and for my newborn daughter it's so useful. I could take pictures of her smiling (which is so difficult to get). Unfortunately it doesnt have a recording feature which will be useful when we get a baby sitter. Its greatest feature is that in contrast to baby monitors, in which you need an additional screen (device), with this camera you can see everything from you cell or tablet.

If you live in an area with marginal internet speeds it will not connect to D-link cloud service, even to configure. You can config manually though once you get it on the network after waiting for all of the auto config options to fail. Needs to have a manual setup option from the start. That Zero Config option only exists if you have an entire D-link cloud router set up. I can't yet get it to FTP images but it will do vid clips on motion. The camera has lots of features not even mentioned in documentation. There is also a PC based DVR app from D-link that will record on schedule or motion. You can set motion on the camera for the FTP images and motion in the DVR for recording separately. The real down side is image quality. It states its VGA quality at 640 x 480 but it is obviously up-scaled from a much lower resolution. image is grainy and at 6 to 8 ft would likely not be usable in prosecution of a thief. It has its uses but not much of a security camera due to poor image. This day and age we 19 megapixel sensors in even the cheapest cell phones, but most home security cameras still suffer from low res sensors.

I bought this camera to mount outside my apartment door. I was having an issue with my packages being stolen when left by UPS and Post Office. Put this up and surprise no more theft. It was easy to mount and easy to setup the software and connect to my WiFi. My only complaint is the length of the power cord. It is very short.

I bought this camera to keep an eye on my father with dementia. It has great resolution and is very sensitive to movements. It was easy to hook up and very easy to sign in on phone app or online. I would highly recommend for all security and family uses.
