    Pretty happy with this purchase. The quality of the images is good and the night mode is nice and clear. We can view these through our phones or our computers however the initial hookup wasn't all that user friendly. We did purchase two and are happy we did.

    The best way to go if you want to have a monitored área. If you plan to buy more than 4 you should go for a cctv solution. This instead, helps you to monitor specific areas where you have problems. Audio is great and installation needs no help from anyone.

    I bought this camera to keep an eye on my pet while I'm away. I also set it up to monitor activity at my front door. The website and setup is not user friendly at all. When you try to set up the home location (the point at which your camera stays focused on one location), it will not remember. There is an advanced setup screen you go to in order to fine tune your settings. It is truly difficult to understand and navigate. Picture is really good when I monitor it from my phone. Ok device for the money. If you just want to look in on your home from time to time, it would be ok.

D-Link advises that you download and install the latest firmware from www.support.dlink.com. Please note that there are two different versions of the DCS-5222L (A & B) so you want to make sure that you are downloading the correct firmware. Regarding the issue on how to set up a home location, please refer to the "PTZ" section of the user manual that is also found on www.support.dlink.com. It will instruct you with step by step directions on how to set up this feature.     This is a good basic camera, the night vision works really well. The two way communication feature is useless and doesnt work. One way sound receiving works pretty well. This unit was overpriced at 150 in my opinion but a good camera overall for monitoring basic activity.

D-Link advises that you download and install the latest firmware from www.support.dlink.com. Please note that there are two versions of the product (A & B) so make sure you are downloading the correct one. In addition, you want to log into your camera's web interface and confirm that you have the box "Audio out off" is not checked. You can also adjust the Audio out volume level too.     The set up was easy, I bought two of these but you can only set up one at a time. These work as described, somewhat.... The 2 way talk only really works good when you have your app set to "local". When you're not home and you have your app set to "remote", there's issues. I think the mic is too sensitive because when I talk to the camera from my phone, it just makes weird sounds and keeps repeating. Also, you hear a lot of background noise when viewing the camera/cameras. In advanced settings there's only two levels of gain to change the audio input (mic) and for the speaker there's 10, default is set to 7. I have Android and my girlfriend has iPhone, on Android you can have 2 way conversations. Not on Apple, when you turn the mic on from the iPhone it turns the speaker off. Android keeps the speaker and mic on. I may contact Dlink about these issues and see what they recommend.

    This camera is simply excellent and extremely loyal when permitted. It rarely ever will stray to do it own thing like so many other of my devices. It's extremely reliable and D Link had made an excellent range of customization options on the web interface. I also love how quickly the app will push notifications for motion and sound. It's instantaneous. Overall very happy with this purchase and at first I was thinking it was a little bit overpriced but now I think it was totally worth it. Especially with the onboard SD card slot it's great. Remember to NOT remove or insert and SD cards when it's plugged in. To do either of those it MUST be unplugged or you will have lots of headaches.

    Setup was very easy right out of the box it doesn't everything that it stated that it would do I have not found anything negative about it night vision Clarity is great and I love to 720P color camera

    I like the camera but the sale person did not tell me I need a DNR D-Link to record. it takes 5 min to upload 3 min playtime on the computer. so I glad I will have to buy a DNR now.

    I do like this camera and how you can move the lens to look around but it seems highly dependant on how good a connection you have and constantly struggle to move lens round the room

    Very easy to setup. Bought this for a friend and was able to teach him how to setup the camera over the phone. Website is also easy to setup to view the live video streaming from anywhere you have internet. App for phone is also a great plus to view the camera.

    I have these pointing out on to the yard of our second home. Easy to setup. notifies you when there is movement so can be used to monitor security as well as watch over the garden growing.

    This camera is great overall. I first had trouble setting up the camera with the wi fi. Camera is great for home survallience and recording is just as easy as inserting a micro sd card.
