Q: can this camera be mounted upside down and still view normally ?
A: Yes. After having mounted the camera to the ceiling , you can invert and flip the image through the web-based camera configuration and the image will be right side up. I have done that with one of my two cameras.

Q: Do you need to have a d-link router to connect wirelessly?
A: No, this does not require a specific manufacturer's router. It will work with other brands.
Q: what method does the camera use for recording?
A: You either use up to a 32G Micro-SD card or buy the DVR module and a hard drive. The 32G only gives around 4-hours of recording time.
Q: if there is no motion but sound only will it record the sound..
