• About The furthest extent, I have only my experience to offer and I have this camera 50 feet range the other side of brick Stucco wall from my Wireless Router. My clarity of vision and acuteness of audio is awesome with this setup. Hope this helped. Good Luck.

• As the system is connected via Wi-Fi there aren't any limitations to the distance in which you can access the system with a smart phone, computer or tablet. In terms of distance between my router and the D-Link camera, it's roughly 20' away and shares my signal with several Wi-Fi enabled devices with no discernible problems.
