I use this camera in my daycare. Easy to set up. Good quality. It just takes a bit long when I want to move the camera around to see other angles.

I have 3 cameras hundreds of miles apart. They were bought separately and The software reacts a bit differently with each of them. I did call factory support, but never heard back. For monitoring and looking around they work great. The ability to go to preset views works consistently for some views. Other views don't go where it was set up to go. Audio works great. You can hear what's going on at the camera site. Occasionally they need rebooting, but they can be set to automatically reboot at preset times so no need to drive a long distance to reset. It would be nice if they could look below horizontal without being physically tilted, which, of course makes them look upwards when you rotate 180 degrees. Great quality, may need to adjust focus once. Very quiet when pan and tilting. If behind a window, turning on the IR illumination shines back into the lens.

This camera has been very helpful to me for watching my elder mother who lives 30 miles away from me. I can pan,tilt zoom and find her in most of the areas of her home. The two-way communications is an added bonus if she gets lonely for conversation (and cheaper then calling long distance). Easy to set up and start using right away.

Easy to install, clear picture even though it not the HD model.

Had to call tech support to set up and sync the camera. Would not sync using written instructions. Lost sync due to power outage will have to call support again.

We bought this camera so we can watch our mother take her medicines twice a day and not have to drive to her home to do so. The camera works nicely to do this and has saved a lot of trips across town. There are times when the iPhone software stops showing the feed from the camera and gives an error. When this happens, we have to go to her house and reset the camera by unplugging the power and plugging it back in. We are not sure why this happens, but it is not frequent. Have owned the camera for 3 months now and have reset it twice. It was very easy to set up, but not as easy to connect to the iPhone app, but once connected, it has always been there. Viewing the 1 week history stored on a SD card in the camera is very slow using the app. If the camera never became unavailable, I would rate it higher. Overall, this has been a good choice for why we purchased it.

I really wanted to like this camera and added it to my home surveillance system, The picture quality was good, and it was nice to be able to pan/tilt/zoom the cameral at will, even though it was quite slow to respond....that may have been because of the network connection problems it seemed to have. It seemed to be of quality materials and construction, but I needed a more reliable, responsive device to add to my system.

This Dlink DCS-5222L camera works great. Over wifi, control is fast and responsive. The pan and tilt option is nice to have. 720p resolution and the field of view is quite nice. Currently using it as a kid monitor for a toddler and color quality is nice in the day time. Night vision is more than enough for an 11x11 room. Don't expect super high quality at night though. It is a little grainy. Using the app works fine. Maybe 80% of the time. Occasionally, the app would not respond. Whether or not that has to do with Android OS or Dlink's app, I have no idea. I just restart it as needed. Via remote (outside home's wifi network), controls are slow of course. Have not activated motion detection or installed a memory card in to test so I cannot comment on that. For my needs, it works fine for me.

This is one of four different cameras I purchased to try out for basic home monitoring. Picture quality is good for both day and night vision. Ended up returning. The pan/tilt function works; however, is slow and motor is noisy. Setup was slow and for being a wireless camera, the camera cannot be installed without first having to connect to router via cable. Once setup is complete, the camera can be used wirelessly. I use the DlinkLite app on both an Iphone 5S and an Amazone Fire HD. The Amazon app is far more user friendly, as reviewing video and deleting from the installed memory card is much easier. The iphone app is very cumbersome, especially when trying to delete video. Overall, ended up purchasing a different model (the DLink DCS 2132L) and am more satisfied, although apps and setup are still not great.

Image quality is good/acceptable for what it is/price, but I'd still like better. No mounting instructions in pkg or online (base/mounting configuration different from other mounting examples online). I figured out something that worked, but would have been nice to see how it was intended to mount. Setup was simple, updating firmware took a few tries (required step). As others have noted, flashing LED during setup- no help from install guide/wizard. Configuration easy.

Set up was a bit of a nightmare. We had to return the first 2 cameras we purchased bc they were defective. On the 3rd camera we had a very difficult time with the setup, but after over an hour on the phone with tech support we finally can use the camera. Very clear image & the night vision is really awesome too. We are going to use it as a baby monitor, but have been using it for home security till the baby is born.

Video works great on remote monitoring, still cant figure out how to invert image so I can mount it upside down on cieling so I had to improvise on the mounting. The 2 way microphone has not functioned yet. But basic audio monitoring works good. Night vision is great. The remote 360 camera panning feature is awesome. I use one to monitor my 93 year old aunt who has Dementia/Alzheimers and the caretakers.

Overall good product for the money. Wanted a "nanny cam" so we could watch/check in from work at home. Proved to be good for that. Like how you can turn it every direction as well as up/down. Pulls a lot of WiFi though so, I'd recommend a good router. Love the night vision and speaker although on occasion, it says I have to go in to settings to set the speaker up. Could be a default in program app. Got it to work on our iPad's and my Galaxy S4, but app wouldn't run correctly on his iPhone 6. Overall, we think it's good for the money.

Camera is easy to setup. The app is easy to use and allows you to move the camera when needed. It has a two way speaker, but the sound is jumbled and hard to understand. The night vision works great too.

Set up was simple, and the app is pretty self explanatory and the only downside to this camera is that the wifi isn't a nice as when connected to an actual Ethernet cable. Night vision is really crispy, even during the day it gives a much better view than with color. Tried a few other cameras so far but this is the best by far.

Had ADT for years and have no idea why. It broadcasts in 720P fantastically and gives alerts to my cell phone immediately. You get to move the camera to your liking from your cell. The only thing I can't get to work is the microphone. Excellent security for the money and no monthly fees, just wifi needed

Good quality picture. Options seem difficult to set up at first. The more you dig, the easier it gets. Not sure if the SD card can be read by a computer. Recommend this camera, just be aware it's a little difficult in the beginning.

I have fun with these cameras showing them off. They pretty much do everything you need them to. Record pan tilt mic speaker motion. And they work with smartthings.

I bought this camera for indoor security and to the next of my knowledge. Works great. At night it is clear and in the day. I love that you can access the device from anywhere. No matter where you are. Only problem, I wished the device power adapter were also wireless.

Nice camera, easy setup and clear picture & sound. Love the pan and tilt feature and also that it records. Use it to spy on my dog during the day, can watch what he is up to and hear if he is barking.
