This is my second DLink Camera. I own the non hd version of this one and this HD version. I would say the biggest problem I have with it is the internet connection I'm using to monitor it. It seems to lose its connection once a day and if the internet connection is down when it reboots it doesn't seem to want to reconnect. The big plus to this is that it has local storage so uploading and emailing isn't a must.

Video works well in day light as well as night time.

I needed this for indoor use to monitor something outside. I've placed it by my window and it's done well. I hardwired the camera and setup the free d-view cam software to record directly to my computer. The d-link app is handy for viewing with my iPhone.

Love it!!!! I really love this D-Link camera. Easy to install. I like the fact that this camera is not stationary. I can pan and tilt! I like to keep an eye on my doggies and of course my house when i'm at work! Love the fact that I can also hear and talk! I have an iPad, iPhone 5s and an android Galaxy nexus phone. D-Link app works very well. I am using this camera wirelessly and it was very easy set-up. I already have a D-Link security camera. The pan and tilt feature is easiest to work on the iPad. I can work that feature on the phones, just took alittle time to figure out. I really like my D-Link security cameras. Work very well and the best part is no monthly fee!!!! I have peace of mind that my doggies and home are ok!

It's a nice camera with a lot of features. Night vision, motion sensor, 2 way sound

I bought mine so I can keep an eye on my pets while I'm traveling. It works great for that usage! The cloud setup didn't work so well for me but that could be because I was on a hotel network. The PTZ is fast and responsive. The best part is the audio feature. The night vision is pretty good as well.

I am so far pleased with this security camera. Easy to setup on computer and with FREE android app. I only wish it would tilt down more when placed on a surface, also a little hard to dial in the sensitivity or figure out how to make it work where it will only notify me of motion when I am not home.

This is a great camera, it was really easy to set up, and the iPhone apps that go with it (that are free) are great I can actually see everything in my home on my phone now. This is great for any home owner that wants to protect their expensive stuff.

The camera is OK and the pan/tilt is nice. But the software for camera setup, control and video retrieval is clunky and unnecessarily complicated. Also, movement notifications should be a user choice of either email or text.

The camera quality is excellent especially when accessed over wifi. The problem I had was the audio would work for 2 secs and then stop. Customer support could not get the camera through firmware updates to work properly.

My only complaint is that getting this thing set up is not as easy as the instructions seem to make it. I followed the instructions exactly and it would not sync to my phone app appropriately. It wasn't until I started improvising after about an hour that it managed to sync fine. I still don't know what I did to make it work, but it works now and it works fine.

I like it. Good quality picture. I like being able to view it remotely.

I bought this for my dad to watch his dog while away it works great

Haven't been too happy with the Security Camera's at Best Buy lately. Went through 2 other sets before purchasing this one. Initially I thought this would work fine, but it seems to need to be manually reset about every 10 days or so. Reset entails unplugging it and letting it sit for about 20 seconds. Definition and Sound are great otherwise. Oh, it will work if you don't reset, but won't record/send to email. Seems strange, but that is what I have happen at least.

Time consuming to set up...not as easy as manufacturer claims.

This camera is great for beginners. It is easy to install.

The camera is great as far as the video goes, however the software is a little tricky to set up and to get a response from DLink on some questions I had was nonexistent. I sent off two emails with questions on settings and two weeks later I'm still waiting for an answer. I managed to fumble way through on trial and error. PatM

I own 5 of these cameras. Initially I thought I wouldn't have any issues, but uploading newer firmware was a little challenging, however I contact Marvin (badge #AR004612) with Tech Support and he got the firmware uploaded for me. Great job Marvin! Camera works great.
